Chapter 7

--Jades POV--

I was in my room getting ready for graduation. I already took a shower and put on some make up. My gown for graduation was spread put on my bed. I have a black dress that goes just about to my knees.

I have to look natural. So I'm wearing what any other girl would wear during graduation. Even though my gown is going to cover it up, I still want it to look like I'm not hiding anything.

I grabbed my gown and headed down stairs. Wes was trying to tie his tie. I set my gown next to his on the counter. "Here." I said taking the tie on my hands. I quickly tied it and patted his chest. "Thanks." He mumbled.

"Ready to graduate?" I asked sarcastically. "Oh ya can't wait." Wes replied. "Well we better get going." I said grabbing my gown and heading toward the door. Wes grabbed his gown and followed.

We hopped in the Mustang and we were off to graduation. Nobody said anything the whole way there. I think Wes is still mad at me for leaving. But I can't do anything about it and he knows that.

We pulled up to the parking lot. Butterflies already building in my stomach. Sam and Darcy were talking in the parking lot. I didn't see Kian anywhere.When they see us Darcy smiles but Sam avoided eye contact.

"Oh my god are to ready to graduate?" Darcy said a smile never leaving her lips. "As ready as i'll ever be." I smiled. We started heading toward the gym. Darcy and Wes in front of Sam and I.

When we got to the door Sam grabbed my arm and took me to the side while Wes and Darcy walked in. "What the hell Sam."

"When were you going to tell Kian?" He said. Shit. "I wasn't going to tell him. He is leaving for college anyway so he won't even know unless he comes to visit."

"Jade you can't keep this from him. I'm gonna tell him." He said walking away. I caught up with him before he got through the doors. I grabbed his arm and spun him around. "Sam you can't tell him. He is gonna go after Dampyr and he will lose." I said my eyes start to water just imagining it.

He sighed. "Fine but you better tell him or I will." I sighed. "Ok." He turned around opening up the door with me behind him. "And you better tell him today." Sam said as we entered the gym.

Everybody was either in their gowns or putting them on. Sam and I walked over to Wes and Darcy. They already had their gowns on. I looked around. Still no Kian.

"Have you guys seen Kian?" I asked. They all shook their heads. I quickly put on my gown and Sam did the same. Just when we were all gonna take our seats two hands wrapped around my waist. "What did I miss." Kian asked.

"Nothin much." I said leaning my head back on his chest. He put his head on my shoulder. "We should get in line." I said pulling Kian toward the line.

The principle started calling all the names. "Darcy Henderson." Sam, Wes, Kian, and I started cheering. He continued until he got to me. "Jade Evans." A lot of cheers erupted from the crowd but I could hear Kian out of all of them. As everyone else I shook his hand as he congratulated me. I went and sat down with the crowd.

"Kian Lawley." I stood up clapping my hands and cheering louder than anyone. "Sam Pottorff." Darcy was cheering like crazy. "Wesley Stromberg." What? His full name is Wesley. I didn't know that but it didn't matter. I cheered just like everyone else.

We all waited until he finished saying all the names. Everybody was talking and taking pictures. Sam, Darcy, Wes, Kian, and I were all huddled in our own group. My family already took pictures and talked. Harry congratulated Kian and Sam since Dams parents were in California. Darcy's parents told her how happy they were.

Wes's parents well I don't know about his parents. I'm guessing they are in California with his brother. We were all talking and having a lot of laughs. I looked at the time and frowned. I'm supposed to be meeting Dampyr in an hour. Tears started brimming in my eyes.

"Jade babe what's wrong?" Kian asked taking my hand. "I'm just sad that this is our last day together. I mean you are going to college. Darcy is going to California with Sam and Wes an I are staying here until he leaves for California too."

"I'm gonna visit a lot, it will be like I never even left." He said giving me a quick peck. I looked at everyone. Darcy had a huge smile on her face. Kian looked so happy. I could tell Wes and Sam were doing there best to smile even though they know what is going to happy in an hour.

After another half an hour of talking everybody hopped in their cars and left. We were the last ones to leave. We all sat in the parking lot talking about what to do on our last night together. "I heard Chloe is throwing a party?" Darcy says. They all nod their heads and mumble a 'sure'.

Sam and Darcy hopped in their cars and left. Wes was already in the drivers seat waiting while I sat on the hood with Kian in between my legs. "So i'll see you tonight?" He said. "Ya." I mumbled trying my best not to break down into tears.

"Ok." He said and gave me a passionate kiss. When we pulled away I gave him a hug and he left. I sighed after he was out of view. I got into the passenger seat, no one saying a word until Wes broke the silence.

"Are you ready?" He asked. I could hear the sadness in his voice. I didn't say anything. I wrapped my arms around him in a big hug. "I'm gonna miss you Wesley." I said smiling. He chuckled.

"I'm gonna miss you too." He said as a tear slid down my cheek.
