Quite awhile had gone by since Jungkook's realization. He'd let Seungyoo have her fun for a few months before he grew tired of her being happy without him.

Of course he didn't let her get too happy. It just wouldn't be Jungkook to let her be.

He'd purposefully blow Seungyoo's phone up with messages when she was with her boyfriend, which annoyed the latter quite a lot surprisingly.

Fortunately for Jungkook, Seungyoo was dating the jealous type.

He mulled over ways to pop in on them and profess his love for her, and maybe even telling the truth.

"Hello, my name is Jungkook, you must be my Seungyoo's other boyfriend."

Jungkook chuckled at himself in the mirror.

"Hey, Seungyoo. Who is this punk? I thought we were engaged?"

"You're cheating on me? Babe.."

"Ya, me and Seungyoo are getting married. She's just using you for a good time, bruh bruh."

Ugh I can't do this..

After practicing what he would say, all his effort had gone to waste the following day.

Seungyoo and Taehyung were having their usual date at the cafe, when Jungkook came at them.

Seungyoo gasped startled when she saw him making his way towards their table. Taehyung turned his attention to Jungkook making him incredibly nervous.

"H-Hey, Seungyoo...didn't think I'd see you her-re." Jungkook took a slight glance toward Taehyung and gulped. He didn't even look angry. But...he looked...amused. "Seungyoo-ah, I mis-sed you.."

Seungyoo stared at Jungkook, jaw dropped. She cursed in her head before Taehyung decided to speak.

"You must be Seungyoo's cousin. Jungkook, right? I'm Taehyung."

Taehyung smiled unknowingly as Jungkook's eyes went wide. He looked over at Seungyoo, who, if she was wearing boots, she'd be shaking in them.

Jungkook opened his mouth, but couldn't say a word. His confidence had been shattered long before he entered the shop, and he was letting his social anxiety get the best of him.

"Why don't you sit down and join us Kookie? I'll buy you a cookie, hehe," Taehyung joked.

"Ahh, no. My parents are stric-" before Jungkook could finish, Taehyung had already gotten up and pushed Jungkook to sit in his seat.

"Wait here, I'll go buy it."

"O-okay." Jungkook sat defeated in the warm seat in front of Seungyoo who didn't look at Jungkook.

"Seungyoo...he...he touched me...weird." Jungkook lightly touched his own shoulder where Taehyung's was previously.

"Jungkook you should go home, before father starts to worry," Seungyoo says ignoring him.

"No, not unless you dump that gay shit and come with me," Jungkook whisper shouted.

"Jungkook..." Seungyoo replaced her frown with a smile when she saw Taehyung looking over at them from the register.

"You're so bad Seungyoo... How dare you smile at another man in front of your soon to be husband."

Seungyoo choked. "Jungkook, you can't be serious... How dare you tell me to do this and that when you have no intention of taking responsibility for my feelings?"

"What..?" Jungkook glared confused.

"You're a child."

As soon as Taehyung got back to the table, Jungkook abruptly stood. "Hey, is there something wrong? Kook-"

"No. Everything is fine. It was nice meeting you...Taeil hyung, was it?" Seungyoo clenched her fists. Taehyung's brows furrowed, but right before correcting Jungkook he continued. "Seungyoo has told me much about you. From the extravagant dinner parties, to the exotic packaging trips....but I gotta say, recalling all those pictures, you look completely different from the man in the photos, hmm maybe it's the lighting."

Taehyung glanced over at Seungyoo feeling a knot in the pit of his stomach.

"Which reminds me... Seungyoo wanted me to send the photos to her parents, since she's bad with technology. I bet they'd get a thrill out of them."

"Jungkook!" Seungyoo yelled, surprising Taehyung. Jungkook just smirked.

Seungyoo sighed, ultimately giving in and packing up her books. "Taehyung...I have to take Jungkook home."

Taehyung scoffed, but didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't believe what he'd just heard. He'd have his suspicions about Seungyoo cheating on him, but he didn't think it was real. He'd convince himself it was all just coincidence.

Seungyoo attempted to hug him, but was rejected when Taehyung went around her. "Just go take him home. I'll see you next week." Taehyung grabbed his bag and ran out the door before she could stop him.

"I'm sorry.." She mumbled.

Jungkook smiled down at the floor, glad he had it his way. "I actually told my mom I'd be sleeping at your house tonight so.."
