"Okay, listen up girls." Lobster, a.k.a Dad/ band manager, said hanging up from a phone conversation. "Guess who I just got off the phone with?" He gestured for us to sit down on the couch. I glanced at my sister, Zoe, who just shrugged as we took our seats.

"Can you just tell us or do you really want us to guess?" I asked slowly, trying to come up with something completely outrageous to guess.

"No, I'm just gonna tell you." He said quickly, "I just hung up with Helen Brown!" Zoe and I shared another look and I discovered that neither or us knew who that was.

"Who is.....?" Zoe asked, fishing for a better explanation. Lobster rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically, like we were already supposed to know this.

"Helen Brown is the band manager to 5 Seconds of Summer!" He said, trying to get us excited, but we just blinked at him. We were fans of the music group, but we didn't like, follow their every move.

"Okay?" I asked, wondering why this was a big deal. He got off the phone with a lot of randomly important people all the time.

"What did Helen Brown say?" Zoe asked, trying not to sound like we were completely clueless as to why this conversation was relevant to us.

"Well," Lobster said, smiling stupidly, "You're gonna love me after this. I just got you on the entire Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour!"

"The 5sos tour?" I asked, feeling suddenly excited. We were going on tour? A real tour? One people would actually hear us play on? "You mean to tell me, that we, as Downtown Idea, are going all over the world to perform?" The only tour we had ever done was a dinky little acoustic tour around Scotland, and not a lot of people actually cared enough to show up.

"Yup! You're brother is getting all the equipment ready as we speak." Lobster said, looking proud for is achievement. "We leave for Portugal May 3rd."

"Are you serious?" Zoe asked loudly, "A tour! I real actual tour!" I laughed at her and Lobster nodded.

"Now, go pack. We meet 5 Seconds of Summer at the hotel in Portugal."

(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

I was getting nervous. We had been at the hotel in Portugal for an hour. 5 Seconds of summer would be here any second, and I'd only ever seen them in magazines or on TV. They were famous.

"Oh my god, Reese, will you relax?" Jonas, my brother, said, slapping my leg to keep it from bouncing. It was a nervous tick I had, and it drove him and most anyone who sat next to me crazy. "It's just a band."

"A band that's crazy good!" Zoe protested. Jonas rolled his eyes at her and scoffed.

"They went on tour with One Direction." He said seriously, "How good could they be?"

"They're nothing like One Direction." I rolled my eyes back at him and Lobster came walking into the lobby with a tall woman with dark skin and a loud mouth. Four very loud boys followed them and I let out a long breath as they came closer.

"Shut up!" Helen said, causing everyone of them to close their mouths with wide eyed expressions. "I'm about to introduce you to a band."

"Is it All Time Low?" Luke asked gasping excitedly, "I love All Time Low!"

"No," Helen said bluntly, "You've met All Time Low. This is a band who's going on the tour."

"All Time Low is going on tour with us?" Michael asked gasping as the high fives were shared between them all.

"No!" Helen said loudly, startling them, and me honestly. I glanced at Zoe and she shrugged back at me. We were going to have to deal with this for five months.

"Oh...." Calum said before he looked at me and smiled lightly. "Who are they then?"

"If you'd shut it for a minute, I'd tell you." Helen scolded slapping him with whatever sort of papers she had in her hands. "Now, this is Downtown Idea. Reese the Drummer, Zoe the lead vocal and bass guitar, and Jonas on guitar." She pointed abruptly to us before she and Lobster walked off to talk some business.

"Luke, Calum, Michael, Ashton." Ashton said pointing to everyone in the wrong order. I'm glad I already knew who they were. Zoe looked mildly confused until Ashton quickly realized she thought he was serious. "Right, no, I'm Ashton, that's Luke, Michael, and Calum." She nodded and I rolled my eyes.

"Great to meet you." Jonas said. He was honestly glad to be on the tour, it was just who he was with. He'd much rather go solo than be in a band with his younger sisters. "I'm gonna go to bed now. I've been in a car for 27 hours." I rolled my eyes at him as he waked off with a wave. 5SOS waved back to him before they turned back to me and Zoe.

And that's when the awkward hit. We were just random girls who happened to be in a band from Scotland. There was nothing interesting about us at all.

"You look just like Brave." Calum said, looking right at me. I opened my mouth to respond, but Michael beat me to it.

"Oh my god, Calum," He said loudly, "It's Merida! We have talked about this! She looks like Merida!"

"You've talked about it?" I asked slowly.

"We googled you guys." Luke said with a flippant wave of his hand. I nodded slowly and Zoe gasped.

"We're on google?" She asked, looking excited, "I didn't know we were on google!" I laughed at her as we ignored her revelation. "I gotta look this shit up..." She mumbled pulling out her phone.

"Whatever!" Calum said to Michael. He turned to me and put his hand on my shoulder, "You look like Merida." I laughed and shrugged his hand away.

"I've been told before." I said. It was true. I had the red curls that refused to be tamed, the blue eyes and the billions of freckles all over my face.

"Have you ever dressed up like her?" Ashton asked. I narrowed my eyes at him and Calum rolled his.

"Do you ever dress up like Hercules?" I asked in response. Why I would I dress up like Merida? That'd be weird.

"Why would I dress up like Hercules?" He asked frowning. "Do I look like Hercules to you?" He asked giggling as he puffed out his chest.

"Well you've got the..." I trailed off when I noticed I was moving to grab his bicep. He had some nice muscles that showed on account of his muscle tee. He laughed as I slowly lowered my hand as a blush crept onto my face. I cleared my throat, "Anyway, no I haven't dressed up as Merida."

"Look!" Zoe said shoving her phone in my face suddenly, "We're on the google!" I laughed and looked at the google page that had links to our youtube channel and photos of us on our acoustic tour.

"Wow..." I said rolling my eyes, "So much info..." I handed her phone back to her and she sighed roughly. I liked raining on her fun. I snickered at her while Calum suddenly groaned.

"No!" He said whining. I'd missed half of a conversation looking at google. "I'm hungry! You guys said we would get something to eat when we got off the bus!"

"Well we can eat here!" Michael said rolling his eyes.

"No the food here is expensive and it's shit!" Calum whined, suddenly putting his head down against my shoulder. I was a complete head shorter than him, so he was slouched over quite a bit.

"What do you guys want to do?" Luke asked, looking at me. I glanced over at Zoe, who was still looking through google on her phone.

"I could eat." I said shrugging Calum off of me. I'd known him for ten minutes and he'd already touched me more than most people have in years.

"Yes!" Calum said loudly, "I say we go get something to eat and then come back here and-"

"Play video games!" Michael said before Calum could suggest otherwise. I laughed at them and shrugged.

"Wait, what are we doing?" Zoe asked putting her phone in her pocket.

"Food." I said grabbing her arm as we all headed toward the door, "Let's go." She nodded and we followed 5SOS to the street.

I liked these guys. They seemed fun.
