32. Another First Kiss

Reece is truly a nut bag. She suddenly wants a baby with....someone? I don't want to say anyone but she doesn't seem to have a preference. When I hung up on her I was about to get on a plane and I wasn't sure she knew that. I was taking my turn and going to see Ashton in LA. I did not like flying but I'm willing to see my loved ones.

Touching down in LA was... unfortunately eventful. There was another plane that was moving out of the way while we were trying to land. I was very scared but whatever. I mean. It was one of those flights that this might as well happen. And besides this would give a good topic of conversation. I didn't have a ride but if there's one thing that LA has an abundance of its Uber Drivers.

The driver was named Reed. He was Hawaiian and had just moved to the US with his wife and newborn daughter. He was only an Uber Driver right now because he was trying to save the last bit to open his genuine Hawaiian Restaurant. It is called Aloha, and his true passion is cooking. When we got to Reece's house I thanked him and gave him the emergency $100 bill I had in my pocket. He gave me an ancient Hawaiian blessing and we parted. What a nice guy.

I opened the door and threw my bag on the couch.

"What up fucker I'm here." I called. I started roaming the house trying to find her. I walked into the kitchen and I saw two plates of food. I frowned. Both untouched. Maybe for me? But it was cold so maybe not. I noticed the carnage on the counter. I started to notice the trail of things fallen over and knocked off the wall. I followed the mess to Reece's room. I knew exactly three things for certain.

1. Jeremy is in Europe right now.

2. There wasn't a car in the driveway meaning that whoever was in there came from nearby

3. Calum lives nearby.

I rolled my eyes and opened the door. As soon as I saw the arm of tattoos I knew I was right.

"Get the fuck up. Get the fuck dressed. And get the fuck into the living room." I said. They both looked at me with wide eyes.

"Zoe. I forgot you were coming." Reece said. I nodded.

"Clearly." I said shaking my head and walking back into the kitchen. I put one of the plates in the microwave and decided that it was mine now.  The other I put in the fridge and decided it also was mine now. I texted Ashton to let him know I had landed and was eagerly looking forward to seeing him so I could spill the tea.

The two came shuffling out of the hallway right as my plate was done. Calum was wearing his clothes but Reece was just in a sheet.

"Sit down." I said gesturing to the table. I took a bite of the pasta. "So what the fuck?" I asked as they sat, "You-" I pointed with my fork at Calum, "Have a girlfriend literally right around the corner." He pursed his lips and looked down at his lap. "And you-" I pointed at Reece with the same fork, "Have a downright lovely boyfriend that is absolutely crazy about you." She looked down.

"Lorelei is out of town." Calum said, as if that would help his case.

"Oh you're right." I said, "I have a boyfriend in every town, city, and village, because that makes it okay." He looked back down, "Literally this is the shittiest thing you could possibly do. Be nice to each other but stop fucking?" They nodded, "And ONE MORE THING." I didn't have one more thing, Calum just started standing up but I wanted him to feel bad.

"Give it a rest Zoe." Reece said standing up and walking toward the bathroom. That was fair.

"I didn't have one more thing to say anyway. Just get the fuck out." I said as Calum started towards the door. He turned toward me.
