8. Orange Colored Sky

After the show we sat in the dressing room for a few minutes with Reece yelling at no one in particular and Lobster scolding her for her use in colorful language every once in a while.

I was contemplating whether to go back to the hotel when Reece stood up proclaiming that exact thing. But I didn't follow her. There was an odd tension between us anymore that always lead to us being awkward. I wish I knew what it was so I could fix it though because it was really starting to take a toll on our relationship and after her I had no other friends.

But still I stayed where I was until I became bored with staring at the wall. It just so happened that 5SOS had just finish their set when I left our room. As I walked down the hall towards the door I saw the guys wave a little at me before going into their room.

"Zoe." Calum stopped me, "where's Reece?" He asked. For one second I was hoping we could've had a friendship but then I remembered I was just his girlfriend's dorky little sister to him.

"I dunno. Probably back at the hotel. Why?" I asked. He smiled.

"Tell her I'm looking for her." He said waving and going into his room. I sighed and walked on out the door. I was very suddenly pelted with something cold and wet. I looked over an saw it was shitty fans throwing some form of sponge at me. Upon further inspection I saw that they were wet socks. Of course. So I sprinted back to the hotel.

By the time I made it inside I smelled like a wet gym bag. Fantastic. I made my way to my room and walked inside seeing Reece chilling on her bed.

"Cal is looking for you." I said bitterly and I went into the bathroom to clean myself. I changed into my pajamas after taking a shower. I was about to ask Reece what she wanted to eat for dinner when I was suddenly whisked out of my room by Calum. I heard the door lock and I sighed as I slid down the wall outside my door.

"Hey." Michael said sliding down the wall on the opposite side.

"What, Michael?" I asked in a more than agitated tone. He seemed surprised, "Michael either tell me what you want to say or leave me alone because I am incredibly hungry and all I want is to go to sleep but I can't because our band mates are shackin it up in my room, so please. Tell me what you want or leave me alone." He smiled and grabbed my hand.

"Come on." He said said softly as he lead me into his room. I sighed and looked around. One half of the room was incredibly neat. The other looked like a tornado had gone through, "Luke. Be decent." Michael yelled, "There's a girl in here." He let go of my hand and grabbed the remote. He held it out to me as he picked up the phone receiver, "Pick whatever you like." He said sitting on the made-up bed and talking to room service. I sat down next to him and started to change the channel. Once he hung up the phone he looked over at me.

"See? My room is just like yours." I smiled at him softly.

"Thank you." I handed him the remote and told him to pick. He ended up putting it on cartoons as Luke came from the bathroom. He had nothing on but a towel around his waist.

"Shit. You didn't say there was going to be someone in here." He said grabbing clothes and going back into the bathroom.

"Yes I did." Michael said looking at me, "I did, didn't I?" He asked. I nodded and pulled my knees up to my chest, "you can get under the covers if you'd like." I nodded again and laid down.

After a while of silence there was a knock on the door and Michael got up to get it. When he came back in he was pushing a cart with three plates of food on it. He picked up two of them and handed me one.

"Hope you're not a vegetarian." He said. I uncovered the plate and saw there was a steak. I was so happy.

"Whether I was a vegetarian or not I'd probably eat this." I said taking the silverware he was handing to me. He sat next to me and crossed his legs in front of himself.
