Everything was going amazingly for my siblings so I didn't want to bother them, but things at the Irwin/McClaggen house were bumpy.

Me and Ashton would argue about a lot. The wedding, or what we should do about the people following us. We would argue about the guest list or about what to serve.

"Ashton I am not inviting Halsey to our wedding." I was already letting All Time Low come and Brendon Urie.

"Come on, we never actually dated!" He said, "We're just friends!" I shook my head.

"I don't like her. I'm sorry. I met her like 4 years ago and it was not a pleasant experience." It was a bit frustrating that he assumed it was because they had a relationship. I was too easy breezy to be jealous.

"What?!" He asked. "She's so nice though." I shook my head.

"She's not invited." I said, "Please." Ashton frowned and nodded.

"Fine." He said crossing his arms. He looked shockingly like Lady when I took something from her.

"I feel like we should have our families and that's it." I said, "they can all have plus ones but I just don't want there to be a bunch of people I don't know." I shrugged. He said that was fair but the people he's suggested are his friends. That's all our conversations ever were. Someone would suggest something, the other would try to veto, then we would fight over whether that was fair. Usually it wasn't fair for either of us and we would be silent for a few hours. But the hours are getting shorter every day.

"Maybe we just shouldn't have a wedding!" I said in a moment of anger.

"That's fine by me! It was an accident the first time anyway!" Ashton responded. That hurt. I didn't want it to because he was right, but I had warmed up to the idea of us being married and I knew he had too. But knowing he didn't mean it didn't make it hurt less. I frowned at him and picked up Louise. Grabbing her diaper bag I stormed out of the house and I put her in the car. When I tried to get into the driver's side Ashton was standing there. "Zoe-" I cut him off with my pointer finger in his face. I never said anything but that made him move enough for me to get in the car. And I drove away.

At first I wasn't sure where I was gonna go, I was leaving my own house after all. But I shortly decided to go to Reese's farm. When I got there Jonas was there. I was shocked, I knew he was here for Christmas but it's January. I had no idea he was staying so long.

He waved and came to my window.

"Hey, what's going on?" He asked after seeing my face, no doubt puffy and red. I shook my head.

"Don't even worry about it." I said, "Is Reese here?" I asked gently. He nodded and pointed toward the gate to the garden.

"Last I saw she was watering the plants." He adjusted his suit jacket.

"You okay?" I asked. He looked terribly uncomfortable.

"I was skinnier when I wore this suit last but I have to look nice. I have a band meeting." I nodded and got out of the car. Jonas followed me as I walked around the car to get my baby out of her seat.

"Are you going to terminate the band?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Barry said he had to tell us all something so we'll see. I want to keep doing music but I am in Europe most of the time and that makes being a band hard." He took Lady from me and took her inside. I turned toward the gate and didn't take a step forward. In that moment I remembered how this all started.

In our garage in Glasgow. I was 14, Reese was 15, Jonas 17. We were kids. It was fun to spend time with my siblings and learn an instrument. It was fun to watch our parents and siblings light up when we would play an original composition no matter how crappy.
