Chapter 30- "You will be the death of me."

The guy mentioned as Adam is the guy who tripped Ethan during the basketball game. He was a part of Ethan's plan so that Ethan could stay back.

Chapter 30- "You will be the death of me."

*Emily's POV*
"We are gonna get caught. It's over." I sighed.

"Come on Princess, I never get caught." He winked.

The owner of the house came out and stood there looking shocked. Well of course she was shocked. Not everyday you see two teenagers sitting on the tree in your backyard. Confused?

FLASHBACK

"We are going on a date." Lucas said.

"Where?" I asked.

"Just get ready and were comfortable clothes." He said.

"Okay just wait downstairs." I said.

"But I thought that you would change with me in here....." He pouted.

"You are cute. I would have fallen for it but out!" I commanded and he followed.

I got dressed into random jeans and a sweatshirt. I know it's a date but he's the one who told me to dress comfortable. So well whatever.

"Let's go." He said.

We both got on the bike and he drove off once again. He stopped near a deserted area and the there was only one house there. Around the house, there were only trees.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"Well our first date is gonna be sneaking into the house's backyard and sitting on the tree there!" Lucas announced.

"You will be the death of me." I sighed.

Flashback over

So that's how we ended up here on the tree and then we dropped Lucas' phone on the car which resulted in the house owner to come out of her house.

"Lucas she looks really mad." I said.

"Wait and watch." He smirked.

He helped me down an then walked over to the lady glaring at us. Then he started talking to her. Wait, not taking but flirting. The lady might be in her late twenties and was still giggling like a teenager on things Lucas said. This guy and his charms! She gave him her number and then we finally left the place.

"This was some date." I smiled.

"I knew nerdy Princess was badass." Lucas smirked.

"Sure, sure. But thanks for the day. I had fun." I smiled and walked towards my house.

"Goodbye kiss?" He pouted.

"Sure." I pecked his cheek and ran into my house.

"Heyy!" I heard him groan and then drive away.

For the first time, life felt perfect. For the first time I wanted to live. So I took the blade out of my pocket and threw it in the dust bin.

"What was that you threw?" A voice asked.

Ethan..... He has the worst timings ever!!

*Unknown POV*
"You are such an idiot!" I yelled.

"I---I am sorry." Parker apologized.

"Sorry?! You ruined an amazing chance!" I said slapping him across his already bruised face.

"She told you that you have to ruin her but you couldn't even handle a pathetic little girl could you?!" My boyfriend Adam yelled.

"I'm sorry boss. Please don't kill me." Parker begged.

"One last chance you asshole. I tell you when you are needed." I said.

"What will we do now?" Adam asked once Parker left.

"We have to do something or else we shall loose both our main fighters Lucas and Ethan." I said.

"Baby do you have any idea what we should do?" Adam asked.

"I say tell Emily that Lucas put a bet on her with Parker. That will solve the Lucas problem and as for Ethan, we need to think about it." I said.

"Okay then, you need to leave a note in her locker. That's the best way." Adam said.

"Fine then, if that's what it takes." I sighed.

*Emily's POV*
"Ethan I'm sorry."

"Emily save it. I'm calling Aaron and Lucas."

"Please don't call Aaron he'll get worried and about Lucas, he knows."

"He knew and never told me! I want you breaking up with him right now!"

"Wait Ethan. I threw the blade and it's only because of Lucas." I said.

"Come downstairs because we have to talk."

I walked downstairs with Ethan and Ethan's friends along with Aaron were already in the living room. I swear Aaron lives in my house more than I do.

"Guys I have issues to sort out could you guys go home?" Ethan asked his friends and they nodded before leaving.

"What happened Ethan?" Aaron asked.

"Ask that fucking question to your best friend!" Ethan roared.

"Oh come on! You guys just stopped fighting! Let it go man." Aaron told Ethan.

"She cut, again." Ethan sighed.

"The fuck Emily?!" Aaron only cussed under very serious circumstances. And this meant that I was in trouble.

"How long?" Ethan asked.

"This year since school started."

"Show me." Aaron demanded and I pulled up the sleeves of my sweatshirt.

"Why?" Ethan asked.

"They kept taunting me. I could not take it. I'm not gonna cry and make you forgive me but.... I couldn't take it." I said holding back tears.

"You could have told us Em we would have helped you out. Why do you have to hurt yourself?" Aaron spoke.

"You don't understand. It's an addiction. I do it, I regret it but then somehow I want to do it again because I feel pathetic."

"But it is killing us. We need you to stop. You aren't eating properly either are you? Now I know why you fainted during the match." Ethan said.

"How do you know I fainted?"

"Aaron." Ethan replied.

"Trust me I have stopped. Lucas has made me realize that I'm not pathetic and now I won't do it again." I promised.

"One year ago you made the very same promise. Can't trust you again." Aaron spoke.

"You are grounded for a week. I'm checking your wrist everyday and I decide what you will eat." Ethan said.

"That's hardly fair!" I groaned.

"Oh you don't get to talk about fair." Aaron spoke.

"Fine, I decide your dinner. Everything else you can do on your own but I need to know what you ate." Ethan said.

"Fine." I sighed.

Well it will take time for both of them to trust me because I know they care.
