The rest of the day after math was boring, until lunch. God, I wished lunch never happened. Like the usual, I had taken my tray of food and was walking to the table which had only Aaron at it.

Aaron is very popular, but he knows how I'm not comfortable with people, so it's just me and him at lunch. Ethan has different lunch timing. That's when it started. I tripped on my shoe laces and all my food fell on a certain somebody.

"Shit" I cursed under my breath.

"The f*ck" I looked up to find none other than Lucas Henswood.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Sorry? Princess do you even know how much the leather jacket you spoiled costs?!" He yell and I flinched at his tone.

"I--I'll pay for it." I stuttered. He stepped closer but Aaron came to the rescue.

"Hey, she said she is sorry man, let her be." Aaron said stepping between me and Lucas.

"Fine." He said and Aaron dragged me to our table.

"What was that?"

"I tripped." Don't get me wrong, I'm not spineless. It's just that it was actually my fault so I couldn't speak up.

"Listen Emily, if anything related to Lucas happens, I need to know. If I'm not there, Ethan has to know."

"Okay" I say.

"Promise?"

"Promise" I smile.

Then, something new happened. A girl walked to our table. She was fair as in snow fair. The fairness highlighted her brown eyes and hair. She was darn pretty.

"Hey" She greeted.

"Hi" I smiled and so did Aaron.

"I'm Lucy." She said bringing her hand forward.

"I'm Aaron and the lady is Emily." Aaron said funnily and we chuckled.

"Never seen you around." I said.

"I'm new. Could I sit with you guys? I'm a bit awkward with new places, but I'm sure I will blend in." Lucy asked.

"Sure" Aaron beemed.

Hmm... Aaron liked her! Finally!!! I thought Aaron would never get himself another girlfriend after Summer left him, but I can already sense something!!

"So, Lucy where are you from?" I asked.

"I stayed in New York before, but my dad got transferred so we shifted here."

"Oh, so do you play sports? You look pretty fit." Aaron asked.

"Thanks, but I actually dance." She blushed. That's how lunch passed by. Guess we got a new friend.

Gym was the last lecture. I entered the girls locker room and changed into my basketball shorts and jersey. I work out in them because after gym, we have extra school basketball practice. That's when the cheerleaders enter. You know queen bee and her minions? The head is Summer Hill, Aaron's ex.

"Eww...look at her legs! No wonder she wears jeans all the time!" Lilly, summer's minion, commented.

"Oh my god yeah! Look at her ass too! It is totally a huge ass!" They all giggled.
