Chapter 27- "Princess please he hurt you."

*Emily's POV*
I got out of my bed and got dressed. Well I had to follow what Parker said so I took my clothes from the untouched section of my cupboard. Yup, the fancy clothes.

I put on those clothes along with noticeable amount of eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. I looked like a clown but this is 'sexy' for others so whatever. I finished my outfit with heels. They are a pain! Doing it for Lucas remember?

"Em where you going?" Ethan asked.

"School."

"Like that? In those clothes?"

"Ethan, everyone wears such clothes and Parker is picking me up so bye." I said and left.

"You look hot." Parker commented.

"Shut up an get in the car." I spoke and we sat inside.

"Feisty, I like it." He smirked and drove off.

We entered school with his arm around my waist. Possessive much? People were eyeing us all the time. Then came Lucas. He stood in his place frozen Ashe saw me.

"Princess?"

"Luc------" I was speaking but was interrupted by Parker.

"Stay away from my girlfriend." Parker said.

"She is not your girlfriend anymore! You asshole!" With that the two of them jumped into a fight.

"Lucas stop." I said with a firm voice.

"Princess please he hurt you."

"He never hurt me Lucas. I just wanted to figure out your mystery so I made up a lie. You are so stupid." I smirked.

He looked broken. More than ever. It was as if his heart shattered into pieces. It was killing me. Killing to know that I caused this to him. But I had to stay strong. I quickly pulled Parker away with me.

"Nice stuff out there. I'm impressed."

"I don't care." I spat.

That's how the day went. Then it was lunch which meant that I would have to answer all questions. The girls knew what Parker did because I had texted him. Only Ethan didn't know but I'm sure Lucas must have told him. I have to keep up the act.

"By girl!" Lucy said as I sat next to her and Parker besides me.

"What are you doing here?!" Ashley spat.

"I'm here with my girlfriend." Parker said.

"After yesterday she made it clear that you two were over." Katie said .

"Which means fuck off." Aaron added.

"Aaron, we are still together." I sighed.

"What?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Yes, if you guys have problems be happy to leave." Parker added.

That's when Lucas entered the cafeteria with my brother. My brother looked really angry and he is skipping because he has a different lunch time. Lucas looked like the old Lucas.

His eyes held no emotions and his face remained expressionless. He was smoking weed.... He had stopped since we became friends..... When he saw I was watching, he pulled a random blonde and started making out with her.

Boom! Blasted! There goes my heart, in the drain. I didn't know he would get over me so soon. I thought he had a real thing for me. Then again, it isn't his fault is it?

I ate nothing. Because Ethan argued with me the entire lunch and plus I wasn't in the mood to eat. After school Parker drove me home and I walked to mom's hospital. I guess maybe mom can help.

"Hey mom." I smiled.

"What's wrong? You seem worried."

"It's how do I explain?"

"Guy trouble?"

"Yea"

"Tell me I'm an expert."

"Well I dated this guy to turned out to be a complete jerk. But then I liked this other guy. But if I don't stay with the previous guy, the new guy might fall in danger." I spoke.

"Okay... so let me guess you agreed with the previous guy to save the guy you like?"

"How did you know?"

"I'm your mom sweetheart. What you did was right but it will ruin your life. You need to talk to the guy you currently like and find a way to save him."

"There is no way mom...."

She doesn't know that a gang is involved.

"There is always a way. Happiness can be found in the darkest of times if only one remembers to switch on the light."

"Mom did you just quote Albus Dumbeldor?"

"Gosh no wonder I love you." I said kissing her cheek.

"Now go I don't want you missing on your school work."

With that I left. What my mom said was right but I can't take that risk with Lucas. He means too much to me. I don't just like him, I love him.

*Lucas's POV*
"He never hurt me Lucas. I just wanted to figure out your mystery so I made up a lie. You are so stupid." She smirked.

Every little piece of my heart shattered. I know I sound like a girl but she wounded me beyond repair. But before she left, I saw something flash in her eyes. It was guilt.

I know my princess. She would never do something like this to me. Now I have only one option. I have to keep up the 'I'm a cold hearted bad boy' act and find out what's going on. And I need Ethan to help me.

"Ethan!" I called before he could enter class.

"What?" Ethan asked irritated.

"I need help."

"Why on Earth would I help you?"

"Because even your sister's life depends on it."

"How?"

"Parker forced Emily and they broke up. Emily and I skipped together. But today she is back with Parker saying that all the stuff she told me was a lie to know my past."

"Emily would never do such a thing."

"Exactly! I think Parker is black mailing her. You have to help me."

"Fine. Just this once. Only because my sister is in all this drama. But if you are wrong, I'm gonna beat you to pulp." Ethan said and I nodded.
