Steve: Goofy, physical humour comes most naturally. He is also known to be quite quick with combacks

Two-Bit: He is quick on the uptake. He remembers jokes really well and can laugh at just about anything. He is the most prone to make fun of someone, but not in a mean way.

Ponyboy: He has an endearing, self-deprecating way of being funny, as simple as a stupid facial expression or pretending to be serious when he's not

Sodapop: A little sarcasm sends him a long way, and once he starts, there's no stopping

Dally: Sarcasm all the way. He uses comments here and there and his humor is rude, passive aggressive, but still funny

Darry: He can keep a straight face until he start laughing at himself with a sharp uptake on what's happening

Johnny: He ranges from cute story-telling to obnoxious sarcasm. He milks it too, almost stealing your attention
