- When authors make Dallas a girlfriend stealer. Like Dallas will always flirt with one of the gang's girl while they are on a date. Pretty sure in the book it stated that Dallas was decent to girls he knows. He's not a total douchbag either🙄

- Someone mentioned this in the comments (jasmineg63 thank you). I also totally hate it when people represent Ponyboy as a weak person. I know in some of my preferences, Ponyboy emotionally seems weaker than the others but that's not totally true. Ponyboy is a sensitive person but he's not all weak. He's a very strong human being who went through a lot (his parents dying, Johnny and Dallas's death, etc). I hope I explained myself well😩

- Hate it when authors make the gang out of character. For example, Dallas is not all lovey dovey, he's not exactly the one to show his soft side. He is a person who cares but he has to act tough to maintain his reputation.

- It bothers me when authors have their fan fiction set in the 1960s but they have the fashion all wrong🙄 Girls wore knee length skirts or dresses mostly for school cause they had a very strict dress code back then. Girls would have their skirts a little bit shorter for outside of school. Apparently jeans were barely worn by girls. I doubt there were mini skirts and crop tops and all that. There were tomboys but they were rare. And I think they were frowned upon too. (S.E. Hinton was a tomboy by the way)

- I don't know how abusive Johnny's parents were but I doubt they broke his bones like every single day🙄 I read an imagine where Johnny's dad broke his bones a lot. According to the book there was only belting and he got beat up by his father. I believe he gets bruises and scars not broken bones. ????

- I doubt you can immediately become a Soc in like five seconds and vice versa. It's not about how you dress but the amount of money you had and where you live in. The nickname "Greaser" is a label for people who live on the East side.

- This is what bothered me from the movie. When they used North and South instead of East and West😒

- The main character always gets to stay in the Curtis home. So annoying. What even happens to the parents? They even let her do what she wants or they abuse her or whatever. (My parents have to know where I am 24/7😂)

- These authors need to make their couples more realistic too tbh. I doubt Ponyboy will cheat on you every chance he has with Cherry.

- It's cringy when authors make the main character tougher than the boys. She will always participate in rumbles and jump Socs🙄 I'm gonna be blunt and say that if I was there at the time I wouldn't take her serious.

- It's fine if you have your story set in the 2000s (but that bothers me). But if you have your story set in the 1960s don't use words like bae😑

What else should I add?🤔
