How He Would Propose

Steve: If he's going to propose to you, it's going to be while he's drag racing or after a rumble. You definitely won't see it coming because he'll be really good at surprising you.

Two-Bit: He will enjoy adding humor and trickery in your proposal, so you may find your ring at the end of a scavenger hunt, or as the answer to a riddle.

Ponyboy: He will plan the proposal around some kind of family event, so he asks for your hand in marriage in front of everyone. He would most likely propose with his mother's wedding ring.

Sodapop: He'll propose when he's certain you will say yes. But he won't propose in front of a crowd just in case you say no. He won't make a big deal out of it, and it will most likely be in a private place, like your house.

Dallas: It will be totally random. You could be in The Dingo, and he'll just ask. Not so romantic. And no ring.

Darry: He'll keep the proposal simple. You won't know it's coming because you'll think it's just your typical dinner and a movie night, but he'll bring the ring and at the right moment, he'll ask you.

Johnny: He would take you to a picnic at the park. He'll just blurt out the question when he's ready.
