Part 4

Quick side note- I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention this before but at this point Erin and Jay have been married for 6 months and it's also spring- Alex only has 4 days of school left, but she'll be missing them to be shadowing intelligence and in case you couldn't tell most of this...if not all, will be written from Erin's POV. Also, Antonio and Laura are happily married

Erin's POV
I get home from the parent meeting and fed Alex and Jay, I swear, they NEVER stop eating. Alex and Eva convinced us last minute, so around 7:00, that Alex just had to spend the night at Eva's, and Antonio and Laura were okay with it, so when Alex turned her puppy eyes on Jay, he caved, just like he always does.

So now it's just Jay and I, alone in our little house for the first time in what feels like ages but has actually only been about 3 days.
J-"Sooo, what's going on in your head?"

I love when he asks this question. It's the same as the basic 'what's up' but holds so much more meaning at the same time. He's so genuine too, I fall a little deeper in love with him ( which should be getting close to impossible) every time.

E-"Ummm, actually I was just thinking about how we have the house to ourselves"

A slow, sexy grin slid across his face as Jay also realized this. His eyebrow shot up as he asked

J-"We do. But what should we do with it?"

My heart beat a little faster and my breathing became a little harsher. 'Damn' I think to myself ''will he ever stop having this effect on me?' Probably not. I hope not, at least.

My own eyebrow cocks as I give my most innocent smile

E-"We should probably be responsible adults and put our PJs on and go to bed early."

It took all my self control then some I didn't know I had to keep up my facade as Jays sexy smile turned into a shit eating grin.

J-"Oh Should we?"

I nodded while biting my lip.

J-"Should I also ignore the look in your eyes then?"

He moved closer to me as he said this, walking around the arm of the couch to stop right in front of where I'm sitting. I tip my head back, looking up into his eyes.

E-"No. You shouldn't do that"

Jay grins when he leans down and in one swift move he has me off the couch where I was lounging and is carrying me bridal style. My face is close to his, with his chin almost level with my eyes, and I'm clutched close against Jays chest. I can feel his heart beating and decide to stay quiet, I love that sound and listen to it every chance I get.

Jay carries me up to our bedroom and we lay down on the bed together. Then some adult stuff happens and after we fall asleep in each other's arms.

Sorry it's short, I've had a crazy week and wasn't really into it when I wrote this. Butttttt I have some great ideas for how to continue after this time filler chapter, so I'm excited about that😊.
