chapter 4.

“phoenix , phoenix come here!!” I jumped from my bed and ran into the living room where I saw Liv jumping up and down.

“what is it?” I laughed and she smiled at me and through a Target bag at me, I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Open it, hurry!” she said impatiently, I laughed and emptied the contents of the bag into my hand.

“Oh.My.God.” I said staring down at the item in my hand.

“Fastlife!” Liv squealed, “It’s so good, I listened to my copy on the way home. I know what song is going to be your favourite already!” she smiled and I laughed, she probably did know what would me mine.

“I’m putting it on” I said rushing over to the CD player and putting the brand new disk into the tray before closing it over again and turning the dial up to the highest volume possible.

“Put Make You Mine on” she winked and I laughed and put it on and just stood listening to the words, my mouth gradually falling open.

“Oh the little dirty!” I laughed once it was over, it just made me love him some more, he was clearly being himself now and I loved that. It made him so much more attractive.

“I would let him blow my mind any night of the week” Liv sighed and I giggled. “I wish Nick would sing like that” she said closing her eyes and I shook my head.

“you have like this fetish for younger guys, it’s scary” I laughed.

“He’s the same age as you! Which means I’m only like what, three years older?” she pouted crossing her arms and I laughed.

“whatever you cougar” I laughed and fell onto the couch and picked my laptop up and turning it on.

“You doing okay today?” she asked a little hesitant, I turned to her and smiled.

“Yeah, I’m doing good. Look I’m so sorry about how I yelled at you. I hate the fact that I’m a total bitch when all you’re trying to do is help me sweetie” I sighed and rested my head on her shoulder.

“I only want the best for you Fee, the way you’re living? that’s not it.” she whispered and I nodded.

“I know and I promise when I’m ready I will get help but right now this is what’s keeping me alive and I know you hate hearing that but if I didn’t throw up or cut myself I would probably be dead by now.” I said quietly and I felt her take a deep breath in.

“I just worry about you. A lot.” she said, it was my turn to sigh. “Pheonix, sometimes I don’t know what I’m going to walk in and find. One day you’re passed out in the bathroom and that onetime I had to call an ambulance because you had lost so much blood. It scares me!” she said and I just stared at my laptop, I knew she was crying and it breaks my heart.

“I’m sorry” I said quietly as I messed about and ended up on tumblr. Obviously.

“Oh! Message!” she exclaimed, wiping her tears and moving closer so she could read the message. “It might be that dude!” she squealed and I laughed. “Hurry up and open it woman!” she demanded and I shook my head and opened it up.

“Dj Airhorn? Really?” Liv cracked up beside me and I smiled, it did sound really funny.

“Shut up, I think it’s cute!” I defended while giggling along with her.
