My life was back to its horrible state. Marlene was missing and I was back to work. I called the police as soon as I realized Marlene was missing. They still hadn't found her.
Luckily, I had a backup plan. I had contacts all over the world. One of them was the Amispire Prince, Rico Sullivan III. Prince Rico was quite nice. I called him up to discuss my plan.
"Hello who is this?"
"This is Sparrow Kingsley, Aquidraki Four Tribes Congress Representative." That sounded awesome.
"Don't recognize the name. Are you a telemarketer? Or an annoying politician asking me to give you my support?"
"No," I said. "I work for Compass. I need to ask you a favor, Your Majesty."
"I don't grant wishes, but I'll do my best to complete your quest."
I explained to Prince Rico what I wanted. Then I added, "Plus, Marlene's super pretty."
I could imagine his eyes lighting up. "It's a deal. I'll do it."
I guess it was a win-win situation. Rico meets a nice girl and Marlene gets rescued. It would be perfect - if it works.
