A Little About Myself And How I Got Here

I shall not yet reveal my identity. It's for security reasons. But for now, you can call me S.

I'd like for you to believe that I am simply a lost traveler. But though I certainly look like a young dragon who got lost in the unfamiliar world of humans, I'm not. Again, I will not reveal my true identity.

My assignment was to rescue Marlene. I was given no indication of where she was, but I assumed she would be in the London area. When I found the Blood Seeker Headquarters, I assumed that was the spot. Using my large supply of magic, I busted down one wall and was easily able to help Marlene escape.

"Come with me," I said.

Marlene seemed a bit distrustful, which isn't exactly something I'm used to. "Why?" she asked. "No offense, but you're not a friend or anything. How do I know you're not with the Blood Seekers?"

"Let's just say I was employed by someone you know."

"I could have gotten out on my own! Do you think I'm a damsel in distress or something?!?!?!?!?"

"Actually, I heard you were in trouble and simply wanted to help!"

"Well, I don't even WANT your help."

This Marlene girl was sure annoying. She can't even accept a simple act of kindness!

"Fine," I said. "Go try and figure out where Scotland is on your own then." I spread my wings to fly back home in defeat.

"WAIT!!!" yelled Marlene. "Can you at least give me directions?"

"Nope," I replied. "Unless, of course, you want to come with me..."

"Ugh, fine. Just so I know I'm going to the right place."

Little did Marlene know she wasn't going home, at least not right away. She was going to Purple Meadows, my home. That, I knew, was part of the deal. At least Marlene would be safe in Purple Meadows.

"Wait a second, what's your name?"

"Just call me S."
