Highschool with the Host Club (host club x reader) (COMPLETED)

⚜chapter 5⚜ a host-tess?

     "We want you to be our first hostess." Kyoya states, face blank and eyes fixated on you.

     "Huh?!" You whisper quietly but Haruhi shouts over you. "She can't be a host!" Haru shouts flailing her arms around like a mad woman.

     "Not host, hostess." Kyoya points out and her eyes narrow to a glare. "What's the difference?" She mumbles and Tamaki pats her back.

     "Well, you see Haruhi. A host is what we are, male entertainers. A hostess is a female entertainer!" He points out and flame fill her eyes.

     "I know the difference!" She shouts and Hunny pulls on your sleeve. "Will you really join us?" He whispers staring up at you with bug eyes.

     "Uhh..." You try to have the words come out when the twins slide in beside you. "It'll be fun!" Kaoru states as Hikaru drapes an arm around you. "Really were a ball!"

     "R-right...." You mumble and Kyoya looks towards you. "It's not like it's a big deal if you don't. I just thought it would be interesting to maybe have a pull with the other side of the school." He states and Haruhi jumps up. "It's because of the money isn't it?!"

     "Possible." He states and she groans. "You don't have to decide now..."

     "It's decided! She's nut doing it!" Haruhi barks and takes a deep breath. "Look, I'm okay if you hang out, but I don't want her to be a hostess."

     "It'll help with your debt." He states and everyone goes quite. "Debt? What debt?" You ask and Kyoya flicks the light out and walks to a prepared PowerPoint.

     "Erhm," he clears his throat and pushes his glasses into place. "She broke a very special vase so she has to make up the amount of money in work." He states and your eyebrow twitches as a small drop rolls down your face. "Why didn't you just say that instead of making a power point?"

     "It really is a lot of fun Y/N- chan!" Hunny states and you bite your lip. "Right Takashi?" He asks the tall guy beside him. "Mm." He nods.

     "I don't know..." You whisper and glance around. "If you're afraid someone will do something, I promise you they won't! No one hurts my daughters!" Tamaki states and you step away. "I'm not scared with them, I'm more scared with you."

     *corner*

     "Mi lord!" Kaoru calls and sighs turning to you. "He's always like this, pay no mind to him." He says waving his hand as Hikaru smiles happily. "He's just very sentimental."

     "Why do you call him 'mi lord'?" You ask and they smile at you. "Just something we do." They state and walk away.

     "Haurhi." You call and she walks to you. "Those two are weird as well."

     *corner*

     "Huh?!" You calls mouth dropped and she tilts her head. "That's new." Haruhi whispers then shakes her head. "Are you really in debt?" You ask and she sighs.

     "Y/N, sucks but yes I am." She mumbles and sighs. "I really didn't want you to know all of it but yep this is where I spend my days." She says shrugging her shoulders. "I guess it isn't so bad..."

      *looks over from corner*

     "I mean they seem nice...... Ish?" You mumble and you're instantly in a hug. "Ahh!" You squeal and squirm but the three don't let go. "Please join the club!" They plead and you wiggle.

     "You can hang out with us!" The twins state an Tamaki throws his arms out to protect you. "No! You will ruin her!"

     "R-r-ruin?!" You asks backing into a corner and they quickly turn waving their hands and shaking their head violently. "No no no no no!"

     "Why don't you just see what we do and decide from that." Kyoya calls and you tilt your head. "Sure, I don't see why not."

     "Yay!" They all cheer and Haruhi slaps her forehead. "Just great..." She mumbles and smiles at you.

     "You really are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." Tamaki coaxes as he whispers sweetly to a girl. "My princess." Grabbing her chin her face brightens to a brilliant red and you can see hearts in her eyes.

     "Wow I had no idea you could sew!" A girl squeals as Hikaru and Kaoru smile. "Owe!" Kaoru lets out and Hikaru jumps to his side. "What happened?" He asks and Kaoru's finger has a small prick from the needle. "Ahh, don't worry me like that." He whispers holding his cheek as Kaoru has tears in his eyes. The girls squeal and your eyebrows twitch.

     "Sorry..." Hunny mumbles rubbing his eyes as he hugs his Bun-Bun tightly. "I was taking a nap." He says and smiles slightly and the girls squeal. "It's okay Hunny-Senpai!" They squeal and your head pounds.

     "Haruhi, you're so cool!" One girl says and she smiles. "What did you have for lunch?" Haruhi thinks and smiles. "Well, I made an omelet and some other things. Dad wasn't to good this morning so I did what I could." They smile and hearts are literal in their eyes.

     "How is that possible?" You mumble and Kyoya glances your way. "How is what possible?" He asks and you shake you head. "What do you think so far?"

     "I mean, I guess it's weird what they do, but it's nice they are making people happy." You mumble and watch them. "How come you don't host?" You ask and he smiles evilly. "You says I don't do it privately?" He asks and you scoot away. "I usually manage everything."

     "So you're the brains in this operation?" You ask and he nods slightly then scoffs. "Does it look like any of them, besides Haruhi, have brains?" You tilt your head and look down. "I guess not..." You whisper and he smiles. "I'm not good at talking to people..." You mumble and he closes his laptop. "All you have to do is find a click for yourself. Once you've found that, it's pretty much easy." He shrugs then nods. "Then serve them the food."

     "Food?" You ask eyes wide and he glances your way. "Well, yeah. Tea and cake or some other things." He mumbles and you look down at your feet. "Is it like the food we had today?" You ask and he nods slowly then you grip onto the yellow fabric of the dress and nod.

     "Okay, I'll do it." You say and he looks at you eyes wide. "I'll do it for Haruhi to get out of the debt she owes." You nod and pat your stomach. "Also, for that delicious food!" He calls and Kyoya gives you an evil smile. "Well,  Y/N..." He holds you his hand, "welcome to the Host Club!"
