⚜chapter 23⚜ the sweet smell of vanilla

      "I'm able to play, because of your beauty." Tamaki whispers as his fingers fly over the keys and the girl's face blushes to a deep shade of red. He leans back as his hair dangles over his eyes and he stops taking her chin gently. "You are my motivation."

      "How lame." You whisper as his face quivers and his smile falls slightly. "This game is incredibly hard..." The guy nods as you click away on his Game Boy and smile. "But not impossible." Giving a wink his face lights up.

     "Thank you Y/N!" He cheers and you nod as he cheerfully runs out of the room. The twins lean over the couch faces slightly annoyed.

      "So you just sit here playing games instead of doing work?" They ask as you fold your arms in a smug smile.

     "Actually! He was showing me the game and telling me about the level, I've played it before so it wasn't to bad." You state and stick your tongue out as their eyes narrow. "Anyway! Get back to your.... Um.... Thing...." You whisper as they lean in on either side of you.

     "What was that look for?" They hiss as you laugh and push them away as Kyoya sighs. "She's not doing work!" They shout pointing with big frowns.

     "Well... I've I get money for her playing games, as long as I get the money, she is doing her job!" Kyoya states waving a huge chunk of cash with a smile. "Anyway!" He walks away humming a tune as the three of you stare after him.

     "He's singing." Kaoru whispers as you all narrow your eyes. "Strange." Hikaru whispers as you nod. "Very strange." You finish and sigh shooing them away.

      "Alright, hello my name is Y/N!" You say as the next guy sits down. A strange fragrance fills your nose, you assume an overdose of colon, and your nose twitches. "So, would you like some tea-?"

      "No." He cuts you off and you lean back as you smile. "All I want is some advice." He states as you stare. The piercings on either side of his lip (snake bite), and tattoo across his arm sends a little bit of a red flag.

     "What advice may I help you with?" You ask tilting your head looking at his dyed hair on the top of his head. (Kinda like Ryuji from Blue Exorcist 👍🏻)

     "I need your help with a.... Girl." He whispers voice low, face red. "She's not really into back boys so I don't know what to do... And anytime I try talk to her she gets this weird face and runs away...."

     "Have you ever thought of using a little less colon?" You mumble tilting your head as his eyes seem to light with fire. "It's just a little overbearing..."

      "That's kinda minor isn't it?" He spits out the words and you nod as you lean back.

     "I'm just going to give you a heads up." You whisper as you sigh and point behind him. "I'm sorry." He looks back and the hosts all stand above him with big smiles. His face pales as they lean forward with evil looks.

      "We'll help you...." They whisper evilly grabbing him and dragging him away as his screams echo around, never to be heard again. Haruhi stands up holding the tray of tea and cookies as you take on and bite.

     "Mmm! Did you make these?!" You cheer happily as she nods and you both sit happily talking and eating as the loud bangs and such from the other room ring out as a cry for help.

      "Introducing! The new and improved! From scary to amazing!!! Err..... This guy!!!" The twins cheer pulling back a curtain. Your eyes shine as he stands their. He still has his piercings and such, but his hair is cut in a different style and his ripped jacket and jeans repaired. He actually kinda looked like a prince. "Well?!" They cheer as Haruhi claps.

      "He looks better than Tamaki!" You cheer as Tamaki smiles proudly.

      "I helped him with the style!" Tamaki cheers and they all nod as you smile. "It's the same as mine!"

      "Well he pulls it off better!" You cheer and well...

*corner*

      "I-is he alright?" He whispers as you wave your hand and smile. "What now?"

     "Now! We see what happens!" You state and you all hurry down the stairs to see the wonder happen.

      You all hide behind a tree as he sighs watching her from far off. Your eyes widen when you look at him and then to your friend Hanako. "You have a crush on Hanako?!" You whisper and he nods blush clear to see. "Why didn't you tell me it was her!!! I could have told you more!"

"I-I don't know. You never asked either!" He whispers harshly as you sigh and fiddle through your bag. "What are you doing?"

"Just be quiet." You whisper as you pullout a piece of paper and write it down. "She's been wanting to see this movie for a long time, ask her out to it!" You whisper as everyone leans forward.

"Will this work?" He whispers and You place a hand on his shoulder.

"Only if you believe." You whisper as the other nod and he grimaces slightly going to stand up. "Wait!" You hiss pulling him down as he groans.

"What?!" He hisses as you all smile nicely at him.

"What's your name?" Haruhi asks as his eyes widen slightly and he looks down.

"Riki Udo." He whispers as you all nod and Hunny grips his shoulder with a friendly smile.

"Good luck Riki-chan!" He cheers and Riki gives a firm nod standing up and awkwardly walking towards her and her friends.

"He's so stiff and weird when he walks..." Kaoru whispers above your head as Tamaki leans forward.

"Don't make fun of him! He's nervous!" Tamaki states and Hikaru smiles wickedly.

"But he's nicer looking than you Mi Lord." He states as Tamaki whimpers and you look over to see hug tears rolling down his face as he curls into a ball. "There's no corner to hide your shame!"

"Shhh! I'm trying to watch!" Haruhi states as Tamaki leans against her shoulder. "Get off."

"Burned Mi Lord." The twins smile.

"Are we seriously bringing that back?!" You hiss as they all nod and sigh.

"Guys! He's talking to her!" Hunny shouts and everyone looks over the giant bush staring. His face is red and he seems to be stuttering but when he's done Hanako has a big smile on her face. With a firm nod, his face brightens and he takes a seat beside her as we all smile at each other.

*sniffle sniffle*

You each turn to look at Tamaki as his crocodile tears roll down his face. "They grow up so fast." He whispers as you all stare and sigh.

"He's not your kid Tamaki." You whisper as he hugs you quietly.

"Don't be mean to me Y/N-chan." He whispers and you squirm as Hunny and the twins peer over Tamaki and he freezes.

"Hands off Mi lord..." They whisper gripping his shoulder and the shrill screams that follow as they drag him away have no affect on you as the rest of you sit there.

"Those cookies were really good." Mori whispers and Haruhi smiles.

"There's more! Shall we go and have some cookies and tea?" She asks and each one of you nod firmly as you walk back to the host club. The sweet smell of vanilla wafts slightly from your dress most likely from Tamaki.
