⚜chapter 9⚜ class with the twins

"Y/N-chaaaaan~" Hikaru says and you open your eyes looking at him. "What are you doing?" He asks and you look at him. "I'm studying with my eyes closed." You grumble and he rolls his eyes as Kaoru walks up. "Whoa, is that drool?" He asks and you wipe your desk frantically. "N-no!" You shout and stand up marching out of the class to the next one as they follow.

"So, Y/N-chan~" Kaoru sings as he walks beside you. "How are you liking the host club?" He asks and you shrug as you yawn. "I guess it's fine.... The only thing I don't like is the lessons." You mumble and he nods sadly. "Yeah, Kyoya can be rough." He mumbles and you nod sadly when he suddenly has a bright smile. "Hey! Maybe you could be taught by all of us!" He says and you look at him startled. "I guess we would need to discuss it when we are with them all." He mumbles and Hikaru drapes an arm around you.

"I don't think it's fair that Kyoya gets to keep you to himself." He mumbles and leans down whispering into your ear. "Isn't that right Y/N. . ." You blush and turn around into the classroom. His arm still around you, a bunch of girls turn to look at you both.

"W-wait!" One shouts and the other crowd around you. "Are you two dating?!" They shout and you look at each other. "No way would he date someone like her." Someone whispers and your eyebrow twitches as Hikaru stands tall. "What does it matter if we are or not?" He asks and you look at him startled as he grabs you arm and you sit between them. "There just jealous Y/N." Kaoru whispers to you and you nod sadly. "Don't worry about it." He whispers and hugs you slightly as they all watch and you can tell by the look on their faces, something was going to happen.

"Can't believe I have Home ec with you two..." You mumble as they both smile at you. "Been here for a while but it still amazes me." You whisper and they both smile at you. "What's wrong Y/N-chan?" Hikaru asks as Kaoru finishes for him. "Afraid we are better cooks than you?"

"I honestly doubt your two are better than me." You grumble and they lean in with evil smiles. "Is that a challenge?" They both say and you tremble in fear at the looks they give you. "Challenge accepted." They state as they wiggle their fingers at you.

The teacher walks in with a recipe and hands each one of you a copy. The twins glance at you with huge smiles and you read the directions as you all begin. You use a scraper to mix the batter and you naturally look towards the twins. They were both staring at you as they mixed their own bowls and you grimace as you turn back.

After about 30 minutes, you pull the cake from the oven and wave your oven mit around to cool it. You hear some gasps and you turn to see everyone surrounding Hikaru and Kaoru. They all admire the wonderful smell wafting from their oven and you tremble as you turn around and stare at your cake. Shrugging, you begin making the cream as you try to distance yourself from the happy giggles behind you.

After a few more minutes, you wash and clean some strawberries then begin cutting them. Then you start decorating it with steady hands. Whispers and grumbles come from around you and you look up to see your counter surrounded by guys. You stare wide eyed as they blink at you. "What are you...." You trail off and they all blush looking down. "It was cool watching you bake." One whispers looking around. "I like it when girls bake." Another states and you laugh slightly. "I guess I could make you guys something else latter on." You mumble and they all brighten up smiling at you. When you turn to smile at the twins, they were looking down sadly and you tilt your head as you turn trying to focus on designing the cake. Yet, the image of their faces continues to roll in your head.

"Your cake smells amazing!" One cheers and a girl pipes up.

"In my opinion I think Hikaru's and Kaoru's is better." She says folding her arms over her chest and the guys turn glaring.

"No, Y/N's is!" They bark and the girls turn glaring harder. "No, Hikaru's and Kaoru's!" Back and forth it goes and finally Hikaru shouts over their banter. "There is only one person who can decide it!"

You all stare intently at him as he sits there. Everyone is crowded around him and your breaths are held. His eyes are closed as he chews the final cake. Your are clasped in front of your chest and he sets his fork down. Slowly his eyes open and he looks up at you with an intense face.

"I like Y/N-chan's!" Hunny cheers and once again, the flowers were back. The girls pout as the guys cheer and the host clubs wave as they leave. "What a bring crowd for cake...." He whispers and the three of you sigh. "You have no idea..." Your voice groan and you sit down on the couch. Hunny happily jumps up and hugs you slightly. "I'm happy I got to eat your cake Y/N-chan!" He cheers and looks up at Mori who is standing beside his couch. You look at the twins cake and cut a piece of and take a bite. They stare at you startled and you can't help but smile at the wonderful taste.

"It delicious!" You cheer and they glance at was other before taking a piece of yours and take a bite too. They stare at each other and then look to you. "This is amazing!" They cheer an you laugh as they lean forward. "Can you make more?" Kaoru asks with wide eyes and you nod as they smile hugging you. "Sorry for all the things we might have started today." Hikaru says sadly and you remember the harsh whispers from today.

"It's alright." You mumble and shrug smiling slightly. "I had fun with you guys today." You mumble and they stare at you blankly as you pat Kaoru on the shoulder. "See you around Kaoru." You whisper and wave to Hikaru as you walk towards the door. Mori-Senpai stands there and you look up to see him staring at you intently.

"Thank you." He says and you stare at him. "For letting him have some cake." He says nodding towards Hunny. You look and then look around. "Oh, you didn't get any did you?" You ask and he looks at you startled. "I'll make you chocolate!" You say and turn nodding. "Hunny said it was your favorite." You mumble then laugh as you open the door. "See you around!" You say and you walk out shutting the door, never noticing everyone's surprised gazes burning into your back. And you never saw the small smile that Mori had when you memorized his favorite flavor.
