Highschool with the Host Club (host club x reader) (COMPLETED)

⚜chapter 27⚜ a new fuzzy host

     "What.... On Earth.... Is that?!" Kyoya hisses as you and Tamaki present Max. "Is he the reason for all the remodeling?"

     "Yes, but isn't he cute!" Tamaki cheers as he folds his arms with a sharp glare.

     "No." He states as you frown and Max lets out a happy bark. "Shut up." Max lets out a whimper hiding behind you as Tamaki frowns.

     "Common! Can't we see what the other think?!" He shouts and Kyoya pushes his glasses up.

     "Right now I have to fix the mess it made!" Kyoya barks and a tall man walks up with a clipboard as Kyoya signs and pushes it away. "Get it out!" His voice risen and sharp as you all tuck your tails between your legs and hurry out.

     You both lead Max away and into another room as you pet his soft coat. Max leans against your legs with a sad look in his big brown eyes as you look to Tamaki. His face is pulled into a long frown as he takes in a deep breath.

"I can't believe he denied such a cute face." Tamaki mumbles looking at Max and patting his head. "Now what?"

"Well.... You said so yourself, let the others vote." You state plainly as Max rolls over grunting and panting happily as he sneezes. "Bless you!"

"I find it slightly sad that you treat a dog better than me." Tamaki mumbles as you look up at him.

"I like animals more than humans." You state as you smile at max and Tamaki walks around leaning into the corner. "Why do people get offended when I say that?"

*BARK*

"See. Max doesn't understand either!" You state as Tamaki shakes his head and you frown. "What do we do?"

"Well.... I guess the final decision rests with the rest of the group." He mumbles and you nod firmly as you both look to Max. He scratches away at his collar then looks at you both. Pulling his lips back, he gives you a dog smile and you can't help but smile back.

You and Tamaki stand in front of the other as they stare wide eyed at Max sitting in front of you. The whole story on what happened already told and Kyoya complete denial clear on his scornful face. You wait for their answer, feet bouncing on the marble floor.

"SO CUTE!!!" They each run towards Max who lets out a surprised Yelp as they hug him tightly. "He's so fluffy!" Haru here's as she scratches his ears.

"KAWAIIIII!!!!" The twins along with Hunny shout as they stare into his big brown eyes. Mori senpai also seems taken with him as he scratches his ears with a small loving smile.

"Are you kidding me." Kyoya mumbles as Tamaki smiles smugly.

"The group has spoken!" Tamaki cheers holding his arms up and giving a small victory dance. It is a rather.... Horrible dance, as the excitement dies down and you stare horrified at the scene. "What?"

"Bark once for no and twice for yes Max.... Was that traumatizing?" You mumble as you glance to max.

*BARK BARK*

*corner*

"He's gonna fit right in!" Hikaru shouts as everyone nods petting Max and he looks to Kyoya. "You're the only one saying no."

"Haven't you ever thought his this thing will take attention away from you?" He asks as they grow silent. "I mean.... If he's in the host club, he may take Hunny's place at being the cutest of hosts." Hunny grows pale as he grips his stuffed bunny.

"No.... Longer..... Cute?" He whispers staring at his feet and he turns to the twins.

"I mean.... If he takes down Hunny's cute factor.... What could he do to you?" He whispers as the Twins share a look then look away.

"Kyoya! He can be our guard dog!" You shout as you hug Max. "I mean... He hasn't done anything bad! He's smart.... He even shamed Tamaki!" You plead with him as you press your hands together. "Please let him be a host?!"

Everyone stares at Kyoya. His gaze seems cold and steady. They never once lift away and you feel sick to your stomach as his glasses shine and he turns away. His body disappearing through a door and the cold slam echoes around the room. You stand awestruck by how cruel he seemed toward Max... You look to the others who sit sadly on the couch and Max lays at there feet, eyes closed in deep slumber. Tamaki has pulled himself from the corner and stares at the shut door as he looks to Max.

"Don't worry boy.... He'll grow to like you." Tamaki whispers smiling at the sleeping max as Haurhi laughs slightly. "What is it?"

"Well.... Cats and dogs don't really get along.... I mean.... Kyoya is kinda like a cat...." She states and everyone cocks their head in concentration.

You imagine Kyoya with little ears and a long flicking tail. He has a chibi appearance and a big smile with his sharp cat tooth showing. Sparkles all around. NOPE!

"I guess he is like a grumpy cat..." Kaoru mumbles as Haurhi nods and you all sit back looking at Max. "I wonder what he's thinking...."

"Probably more reasons to get rid of him..." You mumble frowning as you gently pet him. The door creaks open and Kyoya steps out.

"Keep him out of my stuff.... Don't let him screw up anymore furniture, he's your responsibility. If you can handle him..... Then he can stay." He mumbles and quickly goes back in as everyone shares smiles.

When you look down at Max, he has a happy expression on his face still sleeping. You wonder if he's dreaming of chasing things or eating.... Maybe swimming, or, maybe he heard Kyoya and was happy to in a way be excepted..... Either way.... He is a happy dog..... And the first Doggy Host.
