⚜chapter 32⚜ cookie lessons

     "I'm sorry..... What?" You mumble as you stare at Mori-senpai. "What did you ask me?" She mumbles eyes wide and he blushes looking down.

      "I want you to teach me how to make cookies." He repeats and you stare at him eyes wide.  "I really want to."

      "Why?" You ask and he shrugs looking down and you raise an eyebrow. "It's for home ec." He states plainly as you nod and smile. "Yeah, I'll yeah you!" You cheer as he smiles and you smile. "Ungle Ryouji and Haruhi will be out tonight, so you can come by!"

"Great.... See you then..." He whispers as you nod and leave you locker.

Other than the fact that Mori only talks to you during host club activities, you felt rather happy with the task. You walk along the halls and into your next class happily awaiting the cookie lesson with Mori.

Hunny sat staring out the window as the teacher spoke about the lesson. Finals were coming up and he knew he should be listening, but he couldn't shake a bad feeling within his gut. He remembered how you sat quite and sad only a week ago. He hasn't felt right sense, and he knew the others couldn't sense it. Something was happening and he wants to figure out what is going on, but when he finds out, will he be happy, or sad? Honestly he doesn't know what to do, or say for that matter. All he can do is act like normal happy Hunny. But, even the best actor in the world couldn't act that happy like Hunny has for the past year.

You peeked inside the living room and sighed with relief. Completely empty. Opening the door, you hold it open as Mori holds all the bags and you lead him into the kitchen. He sets them on the counter and you smile opening a cabinet with a recipe book.

"Here." You say flipping it open to the Christmas cookies and smiling. "How are these?"

"They're perfect." He says smiling as you nod and finding the things you'll need. You set them out and he smiles softly as you pop your knuckles and wash your hands.

"Now.... Let's start baking." You whisper with a star like glint and a wide smile.

"Okay, so they are in the oven!" You cheer as you smile at him and he nods as you pull the kettle off and pour a glass of tea for the two of you. "Here! For your hard work!" You cheer and he holds the cup gently with a smile.

"Thank you Y/N..." He mumbles as you nod and sit on the couch as he sits beside you. "I really hope they come out well..."

"I'm sure they will!" You nod firmly and he smiles softly as you shake with excitement. "The fun part is decorating them!" You whisper as you sigh and take a drink. "Winter is so much fun..."

"Yeah..." He whispers as he set the cup down, bringing your knees to your chest.

"Well... Really this entire time here has been fun...." You whisper as you stare at the rim of your cup. "Every second was so much fun and I wasn't sure how to deal with it at first, but now I'm so used to it, it's become normal...." You mumble and Mori stares at you. Your eyes crinkle with a smile and you lean back looking at him. His brown eyes stare into your E/C orbs.

"Y/N...." He whispers leaning forward as you feel his large hand cover yours. "Are.... You alright?" He whispers as he tilt his head and pushes a stray strand of your hair away.

"Yeah.... I'm fine...." You whisper breathlessly as he leans forward. His hand resting upon your shoulder as you smile at him and he squeezes your hand with a strange sense of comfort. "Ooh! I can smell them!" You shout turning away, blush lining your cheeks in a bright red. "They smell great Mori-senpai!" You cheer as he nods pulling his hands back and smile.

"Yeah... They smell great." He whispers as you nod and you sit finishing your tea as you talk and laugh waiting for the cookies to bake.

You stand side by side as you both hold a freshly frosted cookie and nod taking a bite. You chew silently and you both look at each other with wide smiles. "They're great!" You both cheer and you pay his shoulder with a big smile. "You'll do great on the test tomorrow."

"Thank you." He says bowing slightly and you shake you head. "Say... What are you going to do for Christmas?"

"Hmm... Probably stay here." You state with a smile and he smiles slightly. "I'm assuming Tamaki will have Host Club plans though."

"You assume right." He says plainly and smiles at you as you nod.

"Then I'll be with you guys." You say with a gentle smile as he nod and you wave goodbye. "See you at the club tomorrow!"

"Goodbye." He says as you turn to close the door as his last words bring blush to your cheeks. "Y/N-chan."

You stand surround Tamaki as he goes over the plans for the Christmas party. "Then! We sing jingle bells!" He cheers and your head aches in pain.

"Shouldn't we have this meeting when Mori is here?" Hikaru whispers and you nod firmly as Tamaki frowns. "Also, why are we singing?"

"I'll go over the plans when he is here, and no reason." He whispers as his eyes gleam and his thoughts roam as he thinks of you and Haurhi singing jingle bells(chibi form) and he sways slightly. Hauhi draw a bat from your purse and whacks Tamaki in the head as she glares eyes aflame.

"Pervert." She whispers and the twins stare from the corner.

"How did she even know what he was thinking?" Kaoru whispers and Hikaru points to the drool and broken bubble hanging over his head. "Moron was totally showing what was going to through his head..."

"When the hell did we get bubble?" Kaoru hisses and Kyoya waves a hand.

"Never mind that." He says as he looks at them. "Do you really want to sing?"

"No!" You all shout and he nods as he marks it off. Tamaki cries softly holding his bump and sniffles.

"Why am I the victim?" He whines and you turn eye twitching as you lean forward with an evil smirk.

"Why are you so annoying?" You ask and he gasps as the twins slide in with sunglasses pointing at him.

"BURN!" They shout holding up your arms and Hunny rings a bell. "Ding Ding Winner!" He shouts and Tamaki cries more running to his- you know what, I'm not even going to finish that sentence.

The door creaks open and everyone turns a Mori walks in eyes castes downward. "Oh! Mori-senpai." Haruhi says with a smile and her eyes widen with concern. "What's wrong?" He doesn't answer and he walks straight to you extending a hand out holding a bag with cookies inside.

"I want you to have these..." He whispers softly and you stare up at him. His cheeks are a deep shade of cheery red and he shrugs. "They are the ones from Home ec."

"Thank you..." You whisper as you gently take them and smile. "Mori-senpai." He shakes his head as he rubs the back of his neck.

"Don't call me that...." He whispers as you looks you right in the eyes. "Y/N-chan.... I want you to call me Takashi." He whispers and your eyes widen as everyone else stares in disbelief.

     "WHAT?!" They shout as you and Mori stare at one another, you too stunned speechless.
