⚜chapter 29⚜ they can never know

"Okay..... Bye....." You whisper as you hang up the phone. Haruhi had been standing at your side and she reached out but you turned away. "I'm..... Going to bed..."

"We haven't had dinner." She states as you continue up the stairs.

"No thanks.... I'm still full..." You whisper as you go up the stairs and into your room. You slip into the bed, the lights off, darkness surrounding you, and there you stay, until once more, you must leave for school.

"Wow! I had no idea that that was possible! Hunny shouts and Haurhi tilts her head.

"What?" She asks and he looks around.

"Oh.... I'm practicing for a play!" He cheers happily and Tamaki groans as he hangs up his phone. "What's the matter Tamaki?"

"My Butler.... He hasn't answered...." Tamaki mumbles and sighs. "I wonder what Sebastian is up to...."

"Hmm.... Y/N-chan, what are you doing? Kaoru had noticed you sitting alone and quite. "You seem off today."

"I'm fine..." You whisper smiling softly as he sits down beside you. "What is it?"

"W-well.." He rubs the back of his neck and you hear a shout from Kyoya.

"You damn dog!" Max comes sliding away and jumps onto the couch. "Seriously! It tore up my paper!"

"Ooh! A personal paper shredder!" Hunny sings walking to Kyoya as his eyebrow twitches with anger.

"Keep it away!" He shouts once again and walks into his office with a slam of his door and you all grimace.

"Someone is upset..." Hunny mumbles and Tamaki sighs.

"I swear.... It's like he has a secret life...." Tamaki mumbles and walks as he hangs up once again and smiles. "Why is everyone stunned?"

"Well gee.... I have no idea...." Mori mumbles and everyone turns eyes wide.

*corner*

"Did Mori just be.... Sarcastic?" The twins whisper and Haruhi looks around.

"Is this a parallel universe?" Haurhi whispers as everyone cowers together and Mori shrugs as he pets max and sits down.

"Mori.... Did you really just sarcastic slap Tamaki." Kaoru mumbles an Mori shrugs.

"If you think that was good, then that's pretty sad..." Mori states and tears spring to Kaoru's eyes.

*corner*

"Alright guys, let's be nice now..." Hikaru says smiling and Mori raises an eyebrow.

"That funny coming from you."

*corner*

"Mori! You just cornered three peopl at once..." Hunny cheers and Haurhi looks up at him.

"He's a god..." She whispers as small angelic voices echo out and the three guys peer from the corner. The bright illuminating light burning their eyes. "Magnificent."

You, sit still the entire time. Usually you would be laughing and you wouldn't be able to stop, but you just didn't feel like it today. It really was a normal situation with the host club, it should make you happy, but it only makes you sad. Really, you need to smile, be bright.... After all they can't figure out what the decision had came too.

     "What in the!" You hadn't realized that Haruhi and Hunny were perched into the corner and you look to Mori who stood beside you. You look around and pick up a small plate with a slice of cake. "Um.... Cake? Chocolate is your favorite, no?" (Anyone else love chocolate cake? XD)

     His eyes were wide as he nodded taking a piece and once more you went silent...

     "Um.... Y/N, are you listening?" He whispered as you shook back from your thought.

     "I'm so sorry... Please continue." You mumble and he goes back into his story.

     You just can't focus.... Everything is completely washed away. You heart isn't in the right place, and you just can't do it today. You can only nod and act as if you know what's going on around you. Even if everything inside doesn't make any since.

     "Well! I heard it is supposed to snow this weekend!" Haurhi says as the last bit leave and you nod. "Don't you love snow?"

     "I guess..." You mumble and she frowns looking at them.

     "Are you still worried over the call?" She mumbles and you turn to look at her. "What happened on the phone call?"

      "Nothing to be concerned about." You state and she frowns as Hunny hurries up smiling.

     "Y/N-chan! We should build a snowman together!" He cheers and you smile softly as you nod.

      "I'm totally going to beat you in a snowball fight!" Hikaru states throwing an arm around your shoulder as Kaour glares doing the same. "I'm pretty sure I'm better!"

      "Hmm..." Mori is back to his silent state and you all look around at each other.

     "I like coco!" Tamaki states and everyone grows silent.

     "Mmmmm..... Coco....." They all hum and you nod as you walk out.

     "Did someone say coco?!" You shout and everyone hurries over.

     So, you wind up in a group all talking about the perks of winter and what not as you sip on steaming hot coco. You feel better, a lot better, but the truth still lurks in your mind. You knew that they would have to know eventually, but you didn't want to ruin any of the fun.... How can you tell them after all you've been through..... So for now.... You are going to try your hardest to keep it all in..... Keep the secret from a group you find it hard to keep things from..... For now...... The fact that you have to leave in only a few weeks is kept hidden.
