It had been around 10 months since Zoe and Alfie had told their friends and families they were a couple. In that six months they had often stayed round one another's family homes for a couple of weeks at a time, and so through this they had come to know one another's families very well - a relief to them both.

It was a chilly Thursday afternoon in February when Zoe was in her dad's family home in Wiltshire, where she grew up. She had been up since 8 but had wandered downstairs to do her editing and blog writing, leaving her boyfriend to sleep in her bedroom in peace. Once she was done working Zoe decided to check on Alfie to see if he was awake yet. It wouldn't surprise her if he wasn't, he did love a lie in.

"Alf?" Zoe asked in a hushed voice as she gently pushed the door of her bedroom open.

"Hi" Alfie croaked in his morning voice, smiling lazily at the girl walking towards him.

Zoe smiled and put her phone and laptop on the side, kicking her slippers off and slipping back into bed to snuggle up to Alfie, loving how warm and safe she felt when he wrapped his arms around her and cuddled her into his chest, kissing the too of her head.

"Have you only just woke up?" Zoe asked, her voice still hushed. There was no one else in the house to disturb, but this moment was special, and this moment was theirs. Just for them, no need to be loud.

"Yeah, pretty much" Alfie tried to clear his throat of his morning croak a little bit. "What had you been up to?" It didn't work.

"Just work. Blog. Editing" Zoe replied, nuzzling her nose into Alfie's black shirt and inhaling his wonderful scent.

"Mmmm" Alfie hummed whilst he pulled Zoe closer into his side, slipping them both into a lying position on the single bed they shared when staying at Zoe's family home. "I missed you when you got up this morning."

Zoe giggled "You didn't even notice I'd gone!"

"I did!" Alfie insisted, smiling down at the girl in his arms. "I thought you were going to the toilet but you didn't come back" he pretended to pout making Zoe laugh a little.

"Oh, poor baby!" Zoe exclaimed in an over dramatic way, teasing Alfie.

Alfie chuckled, moving one of his hands from Zoe's shoulders to her waist and resting it on her hip. "You left me all alone you know" he whispered looking directly into her eyes.

Zoe's breathing hitched a little at how intently Alfie was looking at her, how badly she wanted to be closer to him, how his body pressed against hers.

"I'm here now" Zoe managed to whisper back to Alfie, allowing her eyes to wander over his gorgeous face and down to his strong body.

"You are." Alfie whispered back, nuzzling his nose against Zoe's.

Suddenly their lips met. They were hungry, wanting, sensual and tender. The kisses were full of passion yet charged with meaning, feelings. Alfie shuffled his body across and helped Zoe to sit on top of his waist, leaning forward to not break the toe curling kisses they shared.

Zoe's hands were buried into Alfie's hair and Alfie's hands gripped at Zoe's waist and hips, completely in love with the way her body felt under his fingertips.

They were both still fairly new to all this. Neither of them had ever experienced such a deep want, a deep need to be with someone in the way that they wanted to be with one another tonight, and to experience that feeling together made it all the more wonderful.

Zoe's hands gently slipped under the hem of Alfie's shirt and carefully traced lines over his muscular stomach and over his chest sending shivers down his spine.
