Zoe's POV

"Snow is falling, all around me" I sang along to the Christmas music blaring through our house speakers.

"Children playing, having fun!" A voice called out from behind me. I turned around with a smile on my face to see who the voice belonged to. With his glasses falling halfway down his nose, his legs bobbing around in all which ways and his arms flailing around in the air, my best friend grinned back at me.

"I'm going to miss you when you go back home tonight" I pouted at him.

He smiled and gave my shoulder a friendly bump, "I'm gonna miss you too girl, but I gotta get back to spend Christmas at home with the Queen" Tyler winked at me with the reference to his mother, Jackie, and I giggled a little bit. "And besides, you don't need me here, you've got that hunk of a man of yours to keep your warm this winter if you know what I'm saying" again Tyler winked and budged me a little, causing me to flush at the thought of spending this Christmas with Alfie and, erm, keeping walm..

"Ugh your sex life must be amazing if you cower up like a damn squid every time I try to get some kind of details" Tyler playfully rolled his eyes at me and grabbed my hand to help him pack again.

Tyler had stayed with us for two days whilst doing some business in London, but it was now only 3 days until Christmas and he was leaving in an hour to get home before Christmas Eve. I will miss him a lot, I love his humour and he amuses me to no end, but I'm looking forward to my Christmas with Alfie and Nala, especially Christmas Eve. Although I freaking love Christmas Day and everything that goes on, I must admit that Christmas Eve is my ultimate favourite day of the year - when Alfie's family, Alfie and I all get into our matching pyjamas and cuddle up on the sofas with Christmas films, or when Alfie and I spend the night entangled on the sofa or in bed, when all that's surrounding us is the magic in the air and dozens of fairy lights.

Right now, whilst Tyler and I collected the last of his things and danced around the house to the Christmas classics, Alfie was out 'running errands' or so he said, but I'm not quite sure what he's up to. He said he'd be back in time to see Tyler off though, so he shouldn't be long.

Just as we lugged all of Tyler's shopping and luggage down to the bottom of the stairs, the front door swung open and in walked Mr Deyes looking incredibly good in his winter coat and beanie. I wrapped my arms around him and pecked his lips as soon as he'd shut the door, ignoring Tyler's teasing from behind me. Alfie smiled at me and then ran to the toilet quickly to pee before we all set off to the airport.

The goodbyes at the airport gate were hard as we didn't know when we would see Tyler next, but seeing as it was him we were saying goodbye to he managed to add some humour and make us all crack up laughing. I gave Tyler a final squeeze goodbye and watched as he hugged Alfie again once his plane was called before starting to walk away towards the exit. I was a good 30 paces away when I realised Alfie hadn't walked with me and was standing having what looked like a serious conversation with Tyler, still standing outside the gate. Talfie being serious? Is that even possible?

When they caught me watching, the boys immediately said their farewells and Alfie jogged slightly to catch up with me. We both waved goodbye to Tyler and then continued to walk towards the exit.

"What was that about?" I questioned with slight amusement, slight confusion.

Alfie smirked. "Never you mind. You'll find out soon anyways" he smiled and put his arm around me to tap my bum a couple of times.

"You go Glenn CoCo!" We heard Tyler's voice boom from down the hallway, and we turned our shocked, red faces towards his grinning one once more before we all burst out laughing - much to the amusement of anyone passing us by - and watched him disappear into the boarding tunnel.
