Chapter Seven

Chapter 7

(Silver POV)

Sonic was sleeping peacefully on Shadow's lap. I just sighed and sat back on the couch, Tails should be back in an hour or so. But Sonic with still be like this for a while, it always takes forever for him to change back. I watched as Shadow played with Sonic's fur, smiling at him. Shadow then looked at me.

"Можете ли вы получить мне немного еды ?" I was confused. "I'm hungry." He then said. Looking at me sideways.

"Oh, Okay." I got up and went to the kitchen. Only to hear the door opening.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Tails voice called from front door.
"In here!" I called back, quickly grabbing Shadow some food. He walked in. "Hey Tails, you're home early."

"Yeah, I tried to be home early, every time, But I always give a quick call, saying I might be late or so," He smiled "Whats with all the meat?" He followed me to the living room, gasping when he saw Shadow. I tossed him some meat, and he caught it. "Is this that Shadow guy you were talking about." I nodded at he walked closer to Shadow. He looked at Tails confused and tried to move away. Sonic stirred awake, his eyes a dark emerald. Crap... I guess the smell of the meat brought the beast out. Tails slowly squatted down, trying to keep the beast calm. He growled and slowly stood up, walking over Shadow, in a protective way. The beast must of realised that Shadow, was a 'mate' or something. Making Sonic wanting to protect him. Shadow looked very concerned. He slowly calmed down as we didn't pose a threat to him, and laid behind Shadow. Tails and I sighed with relief.

"Sonic got really... stressed earlier today. It's only been about 30 minutes since he been like this." I watched as Sonic curled around Shadow, as he petted him.
"I can tell." Tails leaned forward and studied Shadow's tail. "I didn't know these things were real." Sonic growled when Tails said 'things'.

"He has a gender. And he is not a thing.." Sonic gave a sighing sound and pulled Shadow closer. "His people probably don't show themselves. I haven't seen them a whole lot in the future." I couldn't give away too much of the future... Like when Sonic... never mind. I don't want to think about that... "Anyways. Shadow is not a test subject to work on. I repeat! He is not to be tested on." I sighed as Tails maybe a pouty face. Sonic was licking Shadows head, making him blush a little. I smiled as they curled up with each other.
"Well, I'm tired from the trip, So I'm gonna hit the hay." Tails got up and walked to his room. Sonic watched him carefully. Shadow was already asleep, half way onto Sonic's fuzzy body. I guess it was kinda late. I guess Sonic was gonna be like this for the night. I threw a blanket over him and laid on the couch. I could barely fit, with how tall I was. Slowly, I fell asleep, only to wake up a few hours later. I heard something moving around in the kitchen. I looked to see Sonic was missing. I yawned and walked to the kitchen, to see Sonic trying to open the fridge. I chuckled and headed towards him. I opened it and he pulled out food. He ate it right away and I just shut the fridge, hoping to go back to sleep. Only to see Shadow curled up out of the water, sleeping soundly. Sonic would put him back in, once he is done eating.

(Sonic's POV)

I woke up to having something heavy lying on me. I groaned and looked at my chest, to see sleeping face of Shadow. I couldn't help but smile. Only to realized, a blanket was covering the bottom have of my body. I forgotten I transformed last night. I felt my face heat up and I quickly looked around. Silver was passed out on the couch and Shadow was on me. How can I get up without them waking up. I gently slid Shadow off, and quietly got up. I wrapped the blanket around myself, and crep to the stairs.
"Sonic...?" Crap... Silver sat up from couch, rubbing his eyes.

"Silver, I gotta... get dressed. Watch Shadow" I ran upstairs as fast as I could, just get dressed. I sighed with relief. Slowly, I decided to go take a shower first. As I started the water, I just realized the feeling of pressure on my chest, like it was harder to breath. The hot water should help me breath or something. I stood in the shower, letting the hot water run down, leaning against the wall. I sighed, I just haven't felt well for a little while. Started about a week ago, before I found Shadow. I know Silver won't tell me the future, but I need to know what was wrong with me.

Before too long, I was dressed and eating breakfast. Shadow was back in the pool, and I was sitting right next to it. I needed to take a jog or something. After breakfast I will. Shadow stared at me as I ate. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Where fluffy?" Shadow looked me up and down. I sighed. I guess he must of connected with my wolf version.

"He doesn't come out as often." I gave him a fake smile. I remember most of that night, like when Tails came back. And most of that, only when I saw going to sleep. I know I did something, oh well... "Hey, I'm gonna be gone for a bit, okay?" He seemed to understand, and I went to get changed. I told Tails and Silver goodbye, and I be back. Silver said he would be with Mephiles for awhile, I might see him while I was jogging.

As I was jogging, my chest was more on fire then usual. Yes, It gave a slight burn when you're running for awhile. But I was talking about a burning passion, like how it was when I was at home and couldn't breath. I slowed down, gripping my chest, breathing very heavily. I saw everyone starting to stare, I fell to my knees, gripping my chest as hard as I could. I tried to gasp for air, not able to breath. I heard people yelling, and rushing up to me as I fell. My vision started to fade to black, right as I saw Mephiles and Silver. They were the last thing I saw before everything turned black.
