Rodrigo landed in the backyard. He ended up startling the dogs. They barked at him and raised attention. He took off the ring and put it on his chest. He changed back into the clothes he was wearing the night before.

Julio went to the backyard to see what the dogs were barking at. He didn't expect to find Rodrigo lying in the grass, his faced bloody and his stomach bruised. He knew something must of happened to him during the night.

"Toby!" he called out, "Come here!"

Toby came to the back door.

"What happened?" he asked.

"I don't know," Julio answered, "But let's get him inside."

The two carefully picked him up and carried him inside. They took him up to his room and laid him in the bed. They went back downstairs and sat at the table, talking.

"What do you think happen?" asked Toby.

"It probably had something to do with trying to be a hero here in Detroit," Julio said.

"I don't think so," Toby said, "He would've been able to stop the criminal with his ring."

The front door unlocked and opened. Jasmine, Naudia and Stephanie walked in to the house. They saw Julio and Toby sitting at the table.

"Do you guys know where Rodrigo is at?" asked Stephanie, "He has answered my calls or texts."

Julio and Toby looked at the girls. Julio got up and motioned them to follow. They went up the stairs and into Rodrigo's room. Rodrigo was fast asleep in bed.

"What happened?" asked Jasmine.

"I don't know," Julio said, "I found him lying down in the backyard."

Stephanie walked over to him and sat down on the bed. She looked a him and started to tear.

"Who did this?" she asked, sobbing.

"I don't know," Julio said, "But I'll probably figure it out at the Will Corps meeting today."

Julio walked out the door and went towards the kitchen.

"Toby," Julio said, "I'm gonna take off. Take care of Rody."

"Alright bud," Toby said.

Julio walked out the back door and put on his ring. His green suit appeared on him and he flew off into space.

After what seemed like two hours, Julio saw the ship that belonged to the Will Corps. He flew onboard and walked into the main hall where everyone was gathered.

"Ah Julio," the Green Lantern said, "Welcome. We were just about to start."

Julio sat down in an empty chair.

"Recently, one of Julio's friends was kidnapped and almost auctioned off on the alien planet Yurbois," the Green Lantern said, "Julio's friend defeated her and it turns out she is part of the threat. She was sent to stop the four new recruits from uniting all of the Corps."

"We must put a stop to her," someone said.

"No," Julio said, "We can use her to our advantage. If she is attacking us four then we can capture her and find out what their plan is. We are the bait for the enemy."

"That's a good idea. It is also a risky one," the woman next to him said, "but I know you four can handle it."

"Well..." Julio said.

"Well what?" the Green Lantern asked.

"Rodrigo has been beaten pretty badly by his kidnapper," Julio said, "He may not be ready for the next fight."

"Sir!" someone near a computer yelled out, "An attack has begun. The target is Miami, Florida."

"Julio," the Green Lantern said, "Take some of the members and take them down. We are behind you all the way."

"Good," he answered, "I need five members to come with me to Earth."

Five members got out of their chairs and walked towards Julio.

"Alright," he said, "Let's get going."

They flew off the ship towards Miami.
