The Third Wave

Julio landed in the backyard and walked into the house.

"Welcome back Julio," Rodrigo said, "While you were gone, I went out and found us a new base."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

Toby poked his head out from the kitchen.

"He means that we have a better place to have meetings and watch for trouble from those aliens," he said.

"Its over in the Rockies," Rodrigo said, I bought the land cause it was big and we could build a house and a base hidden in the mountains. No enemy would be able to find us."

"That means we would have to move," Julio said.

"We are not moving until we win this war," Rodrigo said.

"Tokyo is being attacked!" Toby said.

He held up his phone and it was on the CNN Twitter page. The three took off and headed towards Tokyo. Luis joined them on the flight there. They landed in Shinjuku Gyoen Park.

They saw photographers snapping pictures of the scenery and then running away. There were four ships in the sky and aliens jumping out of them. Suddenly a few of the aliens were sent flying. A yellow baseball bat was floating in the sky. Then two white boxing gloves started punching a ship towards the ground.

"Sinestro and the White Lantern," Julio said.

The two turned around. They saw the four floating there and motioned them to head in their direction. The four flew towards them.

"Welcome to the battle," Sinestro said, "The White Lantern and I were just taking down some aliens. Who knew being a hero would be so much fun?"

He swung his bat at more aliens a sent them flying.

"Ha ha!" Sinestro said, "This is fun!"

Luis and Toby worked with Sinestro to take down the aliens running around in the park while Julio and Rodrigo worked with the White Lantern to bring down the ships.

Sinestro was flying around decapitating the aliens. Luis brought the dead to life and they started to get into a battle. Toby was spinning in a circle, regurgitating rage-energized blood which cause the aliens either to melt or burn alive.

White Lantern took down a ship and it crashed into the streets. The Tokyo Police arrived and kept the citizens from entering the park. Julio burst into a ship and place a green bomb in it. He flew out of the ship and it blew up and fell to the ground. Rodrigo found a door and knocked on it. An alien opened the door and looked at him.

"Pizza delivery," Rodrigo said.

The alien looked at him and then at the purple pizza box. It screeched at him and then jumped to attack him. It missed Rodrigo and fell to the ground.

"Stupid alien," Rodrigo said.

He flew into the ship and put a purple bomb inside of it. He flew out and the bomb exploded. The ship fell to the ground. Julio looked around to spot any fleeing aliens but he didn't see any.

"I think that's the end of the wave," Sinestro said, "It was a pleasure fighting with you five. Until the next wave!"

He flew off into space.

"Something isn't right," Rodrigo said, "Our kidnappers have usually been the last person we fought, but that hasn't happened yet."

"True," Toby said, "Did you kill tithe person who kidnapped you?"

"A warehouse fell on him but I don't think it did anything," Julio said, "His power covers him in iron."

"Well wherever he is," Luis said, "He will be defeated."

The four said goodbye to White Lantern and they headed home. When they got to Detroit, Luis went to his own home. Toby, Julio and Rodrigo flew to their home. When they got there, the front door was missing. They walked inside and saw a that everything was a complete mess. There was a note on the coffee table. Rodrigo picked it up and read it.

"Hello there enemies. If you are wondering why your house is very messy, do not worry, I only took the three girls who you are dating," Rodrigo read aloud, "And I will make sure to tie their legs and not just their hands. Thank you for the tip Julio. Right? I do not know because Boss just barely revealed the names of your four to my comrades and I. Anyway, I will take very good care of these three. Love Ironfist. PS I do not love you because I am married but it is a form of sarcasm."

"The girls were kidnapped," Toby said.
