Victory Number Two

Julio, Luis and Rodrigo flew towards the ship.

"Oh no you don't," Vortex said.

She opened a vortex and the three were sucked into it.

"Where did you send them?" Toby said.

"Don't worry," she said, "They're just on the moon."

Toby ran towards Vortex but she created another vortex and he was sucked in. The vortex opened up and Toby hit the ground.

Toby got up and looked at Vortex.

"How did you escape the ship?" Toby asked, "It was heading for the sun."

"You kicked me into an escape pod," she said, "I was able to pilot it down to Earth where I waited for the second wave of our attack."

Vortex ran to Toby and rammed him. He fell into another vortex and it opened up above the ship. Toby landed on the ship's roof hard. Vortex appeared right after him.

"You know you won't win against me," Vortex said.

She walked over to him and picked him up.

"Look at me," she said, "Look at your killer because all hope is lost."

Toby stared at her and a red boxing glove punched her in the head. Vortex dropped Toby and opened a vortex behind him. She ran and tried to push him in but Toby knew what was going on. He dodged her attack and she fell in the vortex. Another one appeared above the ship and Vortex came out of it.

"How's do you like a taste of your own medicine?" he asked.

She opened another vortex under Toby but it was blowing out instead of sucking him in. Suddenly swords flew out the vortex and started to cut Toby. None of them did any major damage. Toby thought of something and it materialized in front of him.

"Here's a helicopter for you," he said.

The helicopter fell towards Vortex but she opened a vortex and it disappeared only to appear above Toby. It fell on him and pinned him to the ground. Vortex walked over to Toby.

"Looks like the hero loses today," she said, "and whatever you heard about being able to take us down, well, that's was just a bunch of..."

"Space junk!"

A satellite fell from the sky and ripped a hole in the ship. The helicopter disappeared and Toby was helped to his feet.

"You alright?" Julio said.

"Yeah," Toby replied, "Let's take care of Vortex."

The four entered the ship and looked around. They saw that the ship was completely empty except for them and Vortex. Her stomach was pierced by five poles of the satellite.

"Looks like you've been defeated," Toby said.

"And so have you," Vortex said.

A vortex opened and a remote fell in her hand. With the last amount of strength she had she pushed the button and the ship started to explode.

"Run!" Rodrigo yelled out.

He broke the windshield of the ship with a chair and they flew out. The ship's explosion propelled it forward a little bit and then it complete turned into a ball of fire. A large part of the ship hit a corner of Big Ben and knocked out a support beam. It started to tip forward.

"Stop it from falling!" Luis yelled out.

They flew over and stopped it with materialized hands from their rings. Julio started to use the leftover parts of the ship to make a new support beam part for the clock tower.

After about an hour, Julio completed the beam. Toby, Luis and Rodrigo pushed the tower up and Julio put the beam in.

"Nice going guys," Julio said.

"Great," Toby said, "Now let's get home. I'm hungry."
