An Old Enemy

Rodrigo opened his eyes. He looked around and saw only darkness except for the circle of light that only revealed him. He could hear the whispers and scuffling of feet. He walked towards the darkness and bumped into a glass wall. Rodrigo put his hands on the glass wall and felt that it surround him on all sides. The glass was the same size as the circle of light.

"Hello?" Rodrigo said.

Everyone stopped moving and quieted down. The lights came on and Rodrigo was blinded for a few seconds. He looked at the crowds around him and saw that they were not human.

A creature came over next to him. He stood behind a podium and started talking in an unknown language.

"Yunnan d'kane nochres rotsetes?" it said, "Noratsu porcis lutsion!"

Rodrigo started banging on the glass but no one did anything. He then saw the creatures hold up one finger and make a noise. He realized that he was being auctioned off. Rodrigo noticed that the woman who brought him was up on a balcony talking to what looks like an important figure on the planet. The creature watched as Rodrigo was being bidded on.

Rodrigo stared the creature down and noticed that the woman was pulling out a small knife. Rodrigo patted himself down and found his ring still in his pocket. He casually put his hands in his pockets and slipped the ring on with his right hand.

Rodrigo changed from clothes to purple spandex suit. He pointed his ring down and a bomb appeared. He then ducked down and thought of a protective shield. The purple shield came over and protected him. The bomb exploded and cause a commotion. Rodrigo got up and flew towards the creature and the woman.

Rodrigo grabbed the woman by her collar and pulled her up.

"Where am I?" he asked her.

"Your on the planet Yurbois," she answered, "You were about to make me a lot of money. And then I was going to kill the ruler and make myself queen of this planet."

"Well I'm here to put a stop to that," Rodrigo said.

"Not without a fight!" the woman yelled out.

She kicked Rodrigo in the stomach. He let go of her and landed on the ground.

"Do you remember me now?" she asked.

"No," he said, "I don't know you."

"Do you remember the bank robbery back in 2014?" she said, "The one robbed by the Akar Gang's rival, the Drakas Gang."

"Yeah," he answered.

"I'm the robber who you tripped, embarrassed and then sent to prison," she said, "I am Gosilove. My original name was Jaylene Garnica."

"I do remember you now," Rodrigo said, "Have you had a grudge on me since that day."

"Yes I have," Gosilove said, "I have been wanting to kill you or sell you for money. I had my chance for a few hours, then you broke out."

She ran over to him and kicked him multiple times. She picked him up by the collar and started to punch him in the face.

"Since I cant sell you anymore," Gosilove said, "I'll just have to kill you."

Gosilove kneed Rodrigo in the stomach. He doubled over and clutched his stomach. She kicked him and Rodrigo flew into a wall.

"This was a very easy fight," she said, "I thought you would've been stronger with that ring buy I guess I was wrong."

Gosilove walked towards Rodrigo. She pulled out a staff and pressed a button. A blade came out of the top.

"Goodbye Rodrigo," she said.

"Its not over yet!" he yelled out.

Rodrigo sweeped her off her feet and Gosilove hit the ground. The staff flew up onto a chandelier. Rodrigo got up and grabbed her.

"This is true power," he said.

Rodrigo thought of a boxing glove and they started sucker punching her. He then thought of a hand and it appeared. It pushed her towards the wall. Gosilove sat down looking at Rodrigo. She had no energy to move. Rodrigo threw a ninja star at the chain of the chandelier and it dropped on top of her. It trapped her like a cage. Her staff fell right between her legs.

"Have a good life in alien prison," Rodrigo said.

He flew away from the building of what was the auction house and headed back to Earth.

"You've failed me Gosilove."

"He was too powerful," Gosilove said.

"He must be killed. His friends as well. They are all holders of the rings. They are the only thing that could send our plan out the window."

"Let me try again, Sir, please."

"After you heal up and train some more. Then you can go back out into the field. But if you fail again, I shall have your head."

"Yes Sir."
