Will Corps

Rodrigo and Stephanie walked back into the house.

"Hey Toby," Rodrigo said, "Wanna race?"

Toby looked at Rodrigo.

"I'll win cause I can fly," Toby said.

"A race around the world," Rodrigo said, "Starting here and ending here."

They walked into the backyard and stood ready to race. Rodrigo grabbed his ring and put it on. A purple suit and mask appeared on him.

"You got one too! " Toby said surprised.

"Yeah I did," Rodrigo said.

"We'll be back soon since we can probably fly fast," Toby said.

The two took off and flew away.

"Well I'm gonna go finish that pizza," Julio said, "and then the game. Coming Jasmine?"

"Yeah," she said.

She walked into the house with Julio.

"I'm going up to get ready for bed," Jasmine said.

She walked upstairs to their bedroom. She changed into pajamas and walked back out. She walked past the study and notice something green. Jasmine walked back and entered the study. The man turned around and looked at her.

"Hello," he said.

"Are you a burglar?" she asked.

"If I was a burglar," the man said, " I'd be a funny looking one. Wearing green spandex to rob houses. A great way to conceal myself in the dark."

"What do you want?"

"Does Julio Castellanos live here?"

"Yes."

"Send him up here please."

Jasmine went downstairs and into the living room.

"Julio," she said, "there's a guy in the study asking for you."

"How did he get in?" asked Julio.

"Don't worry about that, just go up and talk to him," Jasmine said.

Julio got up and walked up the stairs. He walked into the study and saw the man.

"Close the door please," he said.

Julio closed the door.

"I suppose your wondering why I'm here?" he asked.

"That and how did you get in," Julio said.

"Well," he said, "I am the Green Lantern. I am here to recruit you for the Will Corps."

"Will Corps?" asked Julio.

"It's also known as the Green Lantern Corps," he said, "Your friends have already been recruited into Corps. Toby is in the Rage Corps. Luis and Rodrigo are in the Star Sapphires."

"Luis is in a Corps too?" Julio said astonished.

"Yes," the Green Lantern said, "But there is a reason you four were recruited at the same time. A threat larger than anyone can imagine is headed towards Earth. One Lantern Corps can't stop it alone. All of the Corps need to unite together to bring it down. But it is mostly impossible because the Corps have always fought against each other. Each Corps has an enemy Corps. We need you to four to try and unite the Corps since you are all very close friends. You will need this ring to get your powers and suit."

He set the ring on the desk in front of him.

"If anyone can bring g together the Corps," he said, "It would be you four, showing them that enemies can come together to take down a larger threat."

Julio looked at the ring. Then back at the Green Lantern.

"Will it fit on my finger?" he asked.

"One size fits all," the Green Lantern said.

He opened the door and left the study. Julio stared at the ring. He grabbed it an looked at the design. It had a circle with two horizontal lines, one on top and one the bottom. It formed the shape of a lantern. He put the ring on and a green suit appeared on his body.

"Cool," he said.

He took off the ring and put it in his pocket. He walked downstairs and saw Stephanie and Naudia staring at the door.

"Who was that?" asked Naudia.

"It was the Green Lantern," Julio answered.
