Lantern Corps Unity

The First Wave

Luis's phone was ring. He looked at it and saw that Toby was calling him.

"Hey Toby," he said, "What's up?"

"Grab your ring and get down to Miami now!" Toby said, "Hurry! We need you!"

Toby then hung up. Luis grabbed his ring from his desk and took off into the backyard. He put it on and a purple suit appeared on his body. He flew straight towards Miami.

In Miami, people were running from the alien creatures. The were muscular and quick. Their mouths opened in the shape of an X. They had four arms and one eye. They either had weapons or fought with their fists. Their were two groups, one to capture humans and another to scout the area out.

Julio and Toby arrived with the five members of the Will Corps.

"Let's clear the area of people," Julio said.

"You do that," Toby said, "I'm gonna go kick some ass."

Toby flew off and started fight the alien creatures.

"Two of you go with him," Julio said, "the rest of you stay with me."

Julio and his team got to work helping the people who were in the vicinity of the aliens. They had take groups of people to safety.

"My children," said a woman, "They're still in there."

Julio went back to find them. He searched through many buildings and found them hiding under a bed.

"Come on out," he said, "I won't hurt you."

The two kids didn't move. A drop of saliva fell onto Julio's shoulder. He looked up and saw the face of the alien. It let out a high pitched scream and dropped from the ceiling. Suddenly a large purple bat hit the alien and sent it out a window.

"Looks like that one is going out of the park," someone said.

Julio turned to his left and saw Luis standing there, smiling.

"Thanks for coming," Julio said.

"No problem," Luis said, "Where can I help?"

"Toby is fighting the aliens right now and we are about to join them after we check the remaining buildings," Julio said, "Go help him out."

Luis took off and Julio grabbed the kids and took them to their mother.

"There are no more people in any of the buildings or under alien control," said one of the Will Corps members.

"Good," Julio said, "Let's get to the front line."

They flew over and saw Toby, Luis and the two other members take down the aliens easily and quickly. They joined in the fight. Julio grabbed two of the aliens and bashed them together. Toby had two red maces floating around and crushing the aliens. The five members were cooperating and taking down aliens as an organized group.

Luis was taking down aliens left and right. Julio watched Luis take down four aliens at once. Luis looked at Julio and smiled.

"Surprised aren't you?" Luis said, "Didn't expect a big guy to..."

"Luis?" asked Julio.

"Sorry," said a female voice, "Luis is available right now... or ever again!"

She laughed and dropped Luis. She was holding a dagger covered in blood.

"You... killed... him," Julio said.

"I did," she said, "and your team has been captured."

She moved out of the way and showed six people tied up and sitting on the ground.

"Surrender now," she said, "Or your friends shall die."

Julio dropped to his knees. Two aliens grabbed him and tied him up. She pulled out a staff and pushed a button. A blade came out of the top. She walked over to one of the Will Corps members and held the blade to his chest.

"Say goodbye to your friends," she said.

"YOU LIAR!" Julio yelled out.

Suddenly, she was tackled down to the ground.
