Defeating Old Enemies

Jesse tackled Kiev and Libbie. Ironfist ran towards Julio. Vortex opened a vortex and Toby fell through it. Gosilove jumped off the building and landed on Rodrigo's shoulders. Death was shooting his shotguns at Luis, who had created a light shield.

Toby landed on something with a hole on the top. He looked into the hole and was blasted with water. He was launched into the sky. Toby looked around and saw that he was in the middle of the ocean. Suddenly a vortex opened and down came a shark. Toby flew out of the way and the shark landed back in the water.

"Nice moves blondie," Vortex said.

She was standing on a small rock that was breaking the surface of the water.

"Nice try Vortex," Toby said, "But I'm going to end you now."

"How?" she asked, "There is nothing you can do in the middle of the ocean."

"Guess you aren't as smart as Kiev and Libbie," Toby said.

He flew straight towards Vortex. He tackled her into the ocean. With his ring, Toby created a mask so he could breathe underwater. He went straight to the bottom. Toby launched Vortex with such a strong force that it heated up the surrounding water.

Vortex was slowly losing consciousness. She could barely keep her eyes open.

"Enjoy Hell Vortex," Toby said as a bright red fist punched her into a rock.

He flew out of the water and into space. Toby saw that he was in the Pacific Ocean. He then flew towards Berlin.

"How do you like getting punched in the face?" Gosilove asked Rodrigo.

Rodrigo pulled Gosilove off his shoulders and threw her at a light pole.

"I've gotten more experienced than before," Rodrigo said, "I'm like the king at a gladiator fight."

He put his fist in the air and gave her a thumbs up.

"I decide who lives and who dies."

Rodrigo turned his thumbs up upside down and showed her a thumbs down. His ring then glowed purple and a beam of light shot right through her and she disintegrated.

Ironfist rammed Julio into the wall. The wall fell apart and the two ended up in the building.

"Now I am going to kill you," Ironfist said, "But I'm going to do it with my bare hands."

He put his fists together and his body went from metallic back to human. Julio took of his ring and was back in his regular clothes. The two ran towards each other. As they got closer, Julio slid between Ironfist's legs. He picked up a brick and smashed it against Ironfist's head. Ironfist fell to the ground. Julio had knocked him out.

"It was nice knowing you," Julio said.

He put on his ring and destroyed some of the support beams that were holding up the building. Julio then flew out through the hole in the wall.

Luis and Death were going head to head. They each had knives and they were trying to stab each other.

Suddenly the building started to topple down over them. Luis engulfed himself in a ball of light and Death turned into a shadow. The knives Death was holding fell to the ground because he couldn't hold anything while in shadow form. The building fell over. Luis and Death were completely unharmed. They both left their safety and started to fight again.

Luis was able to catch Death off guard by sweeping off his feet. Death fell to the ground and Luis manifested two swords. One of them went through Death's chest and the other went through his stomach.

Jesse had Kiev and Libbie pinned on the ground. He punched Kiev twice and then elbowed Libbie.

He picked them up and threw them against a wall. Jesse then manifested two daggers and he threw them at the two. The daggers went through their hands and pinned to the wall. Jesse them made a sword of white light and slashed their heads off.

The other four appeared behind him.

"Great job everyone," Toby said.

"We stopped them," Julio said, "Now time for the boss."

Right before they left, another White Lantern member appeared.

"That was amazing," he said, "White Lantern wants to talk to you. He's think about promoting you."

"Really? That's awesome," Jesse said, "I just wish I didn't have to kill my ally."

"What do you mean?" asks the White Lantern member.

Jesse put his hand on the man's shoulder.

"What I am about to say it going to hard to take in," Jesse told him, "So I'll just show you."

The man started screaming. His skin started to shrivile up and turn to dust. It all blew away with the wind.

"I guess you could say he was gone with the wind," Luis said.

"Very true," Jesse said, "Just like you all will be when I'm done."

Jesse's body started to change into something more vile. Everything grew in size and the White Lantern uniform ripped. The ring was shattered. Jesse's true form was revealed.

"I am the one who sent these fools to kill you all," he said, "I am Tuggo Levrr."
