I got home waiting with everybody for a response. I heard the phone ring and everybody stood up while I picked up the phone.
"Hello? I spoke sacredly on the phone.
"Soda" I heard Gloria say crying.
"The surgery went wrong, she's dying." Gloria said sobbing.
My mouth fell open and I dropped the phone. I told everyone crying and we all rushed to the hospital. When we got there, I opened her door to see her all Purple and I wanted to cry even more
"Soda" she said softly but playfully.
"Hey Ava" I said already crying.
The gang with Melinda came in and they got watery eyes too. She would get 2 of us in her arms to say her goodbyes and was giving us thanks for always being there for her.
"Thanks Dally for making me tough. I was tough during surgery. I'm not scared of death anymore." And Dally sobbed at this comment.

I was the last person.
"There's my hero" she told me smiling.
I smiled back at her and kept crying. She grabbed my hand and Melinda 's and said
"No matter how mad you get at each other, I need you two to marry. It would mean the world to me."
Right there I knelt down and took off my ring and asked Melinda holding the ring up to her
"Melinda, would you make me the happiest man in the world, and marry me?"
She smiled with her eyes watery and nodded fast. I put the ring on her finger and kissed her. Everyone cheered and Avalanna asked
"So Soda, how does it feel to not get rejected again?"
I looked at Melinda, smiled and said
"Amazing" with water in my eyes.
Avalanna gasped and pointed out the window.
"Soda look, our wishing star".
"Yeah" I said as I looked at her and she said
"let's start."
Avalanna: Star light
Me: Star bright
Both: The first star I see tonight
Avalanna: I wish I may
Me: I wish I might
Both: Have the wish I wish tonight
"You know what I wish for?" She asked me.
"What" I asked her smiling
"That when I go to Heaven, I could meet your parents and they could take me in as their daughter." She said smiling to me while tears were rolling down her cheeks.
I hugged her, kissed her on the head, and she said to all of us
"Can you all do me a favor?"
"Yes" we all said.
"The day when I'm being buried, looked up to the wishing star that night and you'll find me as a star next to it. Light a candle before you see it, and when you see me, cheer as loud and joyful as you can. Can you do that for me?
We all said "of course." crying.
"Soda?" She called me.
"Yes baby? I responded her still crying.
"You remember when we were talking about dreams, and you said always have to wake up from that dream no matter how beautiful it is?" She asked me.
"Of course I remember" I said.
She smiled with her eyes watery and said
"This time I could finally stay in that beautiful dream forever."

I started to sobb uncontrollably. I've never cried so much in my life when I heard these words.
"We'll see each other soon, I promise." She told me as she wrapped her arms around me and layed me down with her on her bed. With me hyperventilating, she stroked my hair so I could calm down. I could hear the whole gang crying. I closed my eyes slowly and went to sleep in her arms.
