"You look really exhausted, Nora.." Veronica casually comments before we walk into Mr. Harvey's office to confirm when our holidays begin though they were going to be pretty brief.

"I am." I lightly rub my eyes in order to avoid any smudges. "I am."

Yesterday got me thinking about my parents and Alexia. Could I possibly be like my mother? Selfish, judgmental, and proud? Was I even close? I wish she had never said that, or else I couldn't have been having so many gathered thoughts.

"At least it's Friday. You'd get to breathe." She says before our nostrils meet the heavy caffeine aroma.

"I'd start with Nora," He clears his throat, removing his glasses. "You will be spending a lot of time with the lads."

"Of five seconds of summer?" I ask.

"Yes." He confirms. "Though Veronica will run you over the things you should do. She has done it with a boy band before, so she might give you some head ups," Veronica nods and looks at me from the corner of her eyes.

"Veronica, you'd be having only three working days starting from next week, since we have discussed about this already. You might be called during the weekends," He gulps down a good amount of coffee before granting us the information we had been dreading to know.

"Twenty eight of August would be the beginning of your two weeks off." He drops the cup of coffee, and rotates to the other side, the back of his chair facing us."You may leave now." He mutters.

We scurry away and burst into wide smiles once our eyes meet.

And I thought, on the twenty ninth of this month would be Liam's birthday, which means I would be able to spend a lot of time with him. I honestly can't wait until then. Being with him is absolute bliss. He is spontaneous, lively, strong, intimate, and most of all, amazingly sweet.

"I am glad that I will be able to spend time with my boyfriend," I still haven't gotten a grip over telling people I have a boyfriend, but I have to start off from somewhere. Liam Payne is my boyfriend.

"Oh, really?" She wiggles her brows. I lightly poke her shoulder and she smiles even harder. "Someone looks excited."

"Rather tired, as you said earlier." I look down at my watch and notice it's time for lunch. "Italian?"

"Sure." We walk into the elevator with our arms wrapped around one another. We are surrounded by people, but that does not stop us from giggling devilishly, or criticizing what people wear these days.

We finally get out no matter how congested the place was. I came to literally love that restaurant with whole of my heart. Risottos and olive paste pasta became my little crazy obsession, and I might be a little dramatic, but I am ready to only feed on those two dishes.

"Hey, does that mean I would only get to be with you three times a week?" The wind was picking up, but the crowd was the same. People were rushing by, some wearing jackets even though it was mid August. The cars were horning as they passed by and we had to wait until the traffic light signaled us to walk across the road.

"Yes," she deeply sighs. "My mother is ill, and I would love to have as much time as I can get to help her out."

"I am sorry," I clutch her hand. She slightly flinches but holds my hand harder. I quickly let go when the green light for the pedestrians come on.

"It's okay.."

My thoughts then quiver back to Marcel. I saw him today, and to be completely honest, I felt his heart break right in front of me, but I could see he was doing better. Better without me.
