14. At times you gotta go without knowing where you're going...

Emily's POV

Mid conversation with Gen my phone buzzed and I noticed everyone else was now staring at their phones in surprise.

I opened the notification from Stephen and saw the picture of us from earlier with the caption 'The four most important people in my life.' Followed by the family emoji and 2 baby emojis.

I didn't think, I acted and went over to him, he looked nervous.

"The four most important people in your life?" I asked, so many emotions flooding my mind.

He nodded and I kissed him, letting the world around us fade away. All that mattered in that moment was us and our happiness.

"You're okay with this?" He asked.

I nodded. "This is what I want and I'm ready for us to simply be us no matter what anyone else might think."

He smiled and took my hand leading us back to the pool. We enjoyed the rest of the day together as a family, Cassandra left when her family did and we continued to party.

Once we were all hanging out inside and the kids were asleep, Robbie broke out the karaoke machine and a bottle Nocking Point wine, which sucked because it was my favorite and I couldn't drink.

Jared and Stephen belted out a very interesting version of Bohemian Rhapsody, while Gen and I recorded the entire thing.

Andrea was still here and was spending most of the night with Jenny. Since Cassandra left, there weren't many people here that she knew very well besides her mom, Robbie, and Italia.

I decided to try and go talk to her.

She was on her phone when I joined her at the kitchen table.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

She looked up surprised, but nodded and put her phone down.

"I know that you and Stephen were close when you were younger and since his acting career blew up you both kind of lost touch, but I want you to know that he still loves you so much and he doesn't want to be in this fight with you, he's stubborn, but I'm sure you know that already."

She took a breath. "I know that you love him Emily, I mean he's a catch, my brother always has been. I just think that you both rushed into this and although I did mean everything I said, I know now that I went about it all the wrong way. There is one thing that I do have to take back..."

"And that would be?" I questioned.

"After seeing you guys today and the picture that Steve posted, I know there's not a chance he will go back to Cassandra, he is in love with you, I thought it was the chase for him, but it wasn't. The age difference, the pregnancy, I still think that it was way too fast, but I want to be there for him and I guess to do that I have to make things right with you." She spoke genuinely.

Before I could respond Stephen was walking towards us.

"We will have to finish this later." I said before he reached us.

"Everything alright over here? And I want the truth this time." He spoke sternly.

I nodded. "We're fine, just getting some things off of our chest, don't worry."

He didn't seem convinced, but it didn't matter because the doorbell rang, interrupting us.

"Uhh.. Steve. It's for you." Robbie called out from the front door.

He walked over and I followed. It was Wolf.

"We need to talk." She spoke sternly and he gestured for her to follow him outside. I stayed put, until Wolf spoke.
