A Stormy Night

The last couple of days have been very cold in Auradon, no one has caught a cold yet and the weather forecast says that there will be a big storm tonight, no one has told Evie because she is terrified of storms, they remind her of when they where on the isle and when she had nightmares, Mal had gotten the dorm ready for that night, it usually takes a while for Evie to fall asleep when there is a stone but Mal knows how to help her fall asleep. Mal had the blueberry scented candles ready and she had the curtains closed, she had turned on Evie's night lamp and was prepared or so she though she was, she had Bens number on speed dial just in case but that was the wrong person to have one speed dial.

It was about 12:00 at night and Evie kept tossing and turning all night, she was having nightmares again Mal hadn't gotten any sleep and Ben was very much help, Mal did the first thing that came to her mind "Get Jay" she thought and she picked up her phone and texted Jay
M=Mal. J=Jay
M-Hey Jay are you up yet?
J-Yeah, dude has been up all night. What's wrong?
M-It's Evie, she is having nightmares again and she can't sleep.
J-Okay, I'm on my way.
M-Wait why?
J-Just trust me okay?
M-Okay, well hurry up please, I need sleep.
J-Coming now.

And with that said Jay got out of bed and headed to the girls dorms, he knocked on the door and Mal opened it "please help me, I need sleep and she won't stop tossing and turning" Mal says and Jay sits by Evie's bed "hey Eve's, are you wake?" Jay ask's and Evie turns over to face Jay and she opens her eyes "Hey" he says to her and Mal jumps into her bed "Hi" Evie says "Are you having nightmares again?" Jay ask's and Evie nods her head slightly "it's okay, I'm here nothing is going to happen" Jay says "you promise?" Evie asks "I promise" Jay says and she closes her eyes and Jay stays by her bed. Not even five minutes later Evie wakes up again from another nightmare, Mal is still asleep "Hey,Evie's it's okay. Do you need me to cuddle you. Like we did on the isle?" Jay ask's and Evie nods her head, Jay hops in her bed and wraps his arms around her, she is soon fast asleep.

The next morning they both wake up to see Mal staring at them "Morning sleepy heads" Mal says and they both sit up "Morning" Evie says "how did you get her to fall asleep? I couldn't do it and I normally can" Mal asks Jay "I have my ways" he says and he smirks, they the head off to breakfast, Jay sits next to Evie and they talk. Every lesson they have together they sit next to each other, when Jay has tourney practice Evie comes and sits in the stands just to cheer Jay in which makes Jay work harder, just for Evie. Carlos and Mal have noticed how close they are getting and decide to personally ask them about the relationship status. One night in the girls dorms Mal and  Evie are watching a movie when the movie ends Mal decides to ask Evie. "So Evie, what's going on with you and Jay. You guys seem closer then usual" Mal says "what? I didn't notice" Evie says "so are you two official yet?" Mal asks "official? What do you mean by Official?" Evie asks "are you two dating or not?" Mal asks "No" Evie says sadly "why not?" Mal asks "I don't know" Evie says and they go to bed,

Meanwhile in the boys dorms: Carlos and Jay are playing video games "So you an Evie huh?" Carlos asks "what do you mean? Me and Evie?" Jay ask's "you two have been spending more time together, so are you dating or not?" Carlos asks "no, we aren't dating I'm just being a good friend" Jay says "well it's seams like you love her" Carlos says "do not" Jay says "yes you do" Carlos says and he goes to sleep. That night both the teens stay up thinking about one another, when Evie decides to text Jay.
E=Evie J=Jay
E-Hey Jay are you up?
J-Yeah, I'm up. What's wrong Eve's?
E-Nothing I just can't sleep.
J-Same here.
E-Hey can I come over? I might be able to fall asleep then.
J-Sure thing,
E-Thanks, I'll be there soon.

Evie got up and out of bed, she put a note on Mal's bed telling her that she just went to spend the night with someone else. The next more the two teens woke up wrapped in each others arms "Good morning" Evie says to Jay "Morning princess" Jay says and the two teens get ready for today, it's the weekend but Mal and Carlos say they have something important planned once they are both ready they head to the chemistry room, where Carlos and Mal told them to go. once they got there they waited, about ten minutes later Carlos and Mal enter the room "okay so what are we doing today?" Jay ask's "things" Mal says "what do you mean?" Evie asks "oh I forgot, I have a....thing with Ben, I'll be back just give me a second" Mal says and she slowly heads out "oh I have a date with Jane, I'll be back soon" Carlos says and Mal exits one door and Carlos exits the other, then they lock the doors, since it's the weekend the windows are locked as well, it is now Jay and Evie alone in the room "okay then..." Jay says and he heads for a door "it's locked, Carlos must have locked it when he left" Jay says and Evie heads to the other door "this one is locked too" Evie says "great we are locked in" Evie adds "at least we have each other" Jay says "yeah..." Evie says and she sits down at one of the tables "so..." Jay says as he sits down next to Evie then a note slides under the door and Jay goes to get the note "what is that?" Evie asks "a note from Mal and Carlos" Jay says "what does it say?" Evie asks and Jay reads it out loud

So basically we can't leave until we "confess how we feel about one another" what ever that means" Jay says but they both know exactly what it means "you like me?" Evie asks Jay very shocked "Yes, does this mean you like me too?" Jay ask's "yes" Evie says and they slowly walk up to each other "I never told you because I thought you wouldn't like me the way I likes you and I thought that it would ruin our friendship but I really really like you Evie and I want-" Jay says but Evie cuts him off by kissing him, Jay slowly melts into the kiss then after a few minutes the two teens pull back for air "Wow..." Jay says and he goes for another kiss but instead of lips he kisses a finger, Evie's finger "You can't have another" she says jokingly "and why not?" Jay ask's annoyingly "because we aren't dating, you can't kiss me unless you are my boyfriend, those are the rules" Evie says "fine. Evie would you like to be my girlfriend?" Jay ask's "I would love to" Evie says and they kiss again, Mal and Carlos unlock the doors "Jayvie Jayvie Jayvie" they chant "what's a Jayvie?" Jay ask's and Evie giggles "what's a Jayvie?" Jay ask's again and Mal starts laughing "guys what's a Jayvie?" Jay ask's once again and now everyone is laugh "real mature guys. Real mature" he says "I'll be in my dorm if you need me" he adds and with that Jay leaves the three teens on the floor laughing their heads off.
