Almost Lover Part 1

This is two part one shot

One day while Evie was on a date with Doug (well it wasn't really a date since they weren't dating, more like a get together) she saw Audery can Jay flirting. Evie had to admit, she liked Jay... A lot.

Evie had just listened to a sad song and it was playing over in her head. Evie and Jay used to flirt all the time back on the isle. But now it's like they were two different people.

Jay was talking with Audery when he looked over to see Evie with Doug. She didn't look to happy, but Jay didn't want to interfere. He had already caused enough trouble. he called Doug a nerd.

Jay was really pushing his luck. He loved Evie, even if he didn't admit it to himself. He wanted Evie to be happy, and she wasn't happy. Not with Doug. Maybe with him tough.

Clever trick

Evie hated seeing Jay with Audery. Because that meant that Evie was one step further from Jay. Evie tried her to convince herself that she didn't love Jay. But that was no use

Jay made it his life goal to make Evie happy. Whenever he saw her sad it killed him inside. He tried to push away his feelings for her but they were to strong. Even for him.

Doug knew that Jay liked Evie. So he did everything he could to spend time with Evie. He didn't like the fact that Jay and Evie had a very close friendship. So he hatched a plan.

Audery knew Evie liked Jay... A little too much. She did everything to make sure that Evie stay as far away as possible for Jay, so eventually Audery had an idea.

Goodbye my almost lover. Goodbye my hopeless dreams. I'm trying not to think about you. Can't you just let me be?

Mal tried her hardest to get Evie to confess her love for Jay. But each time Evie was about to confess, Ben would show up for their date. Mal needed her to confess. It was killing Evie inside.

Carlos was trying as hard as he could to get Jay to say that he loves Evie. But it isn't as easy as people make it seem. Jay is a thick as a rock. If he doesn't want to say something, it wasn't going to be said.

Goodbye my luckless romance. My back is turned on you. I should have known you'd bring me heartache. Almost lovers always do.

Doug was planning on keeping Evie as far away as possible from Jay. That meant taking her out whenever she was free or making sure Jay never had time for her.

Audery made sure that Jay never had time for anything but, school tourney and herself. Audery made sure that Evie was as far out of his life as physically possible.
