Evie is sitting in the library reading a book, she felt pair of eyes watching her. She looks up and sees Jay staring at her while gently biting his thumb "are you okay over there?" Asks Evie "I just think that you look attractive when your focused" said Jay

Evie giggled "why thank you Jay" said Evie and she giggled again "your quite welcome" said Jay, they where staring into each other's eye, thinking about each other. They where brought out of their thoughts when Doug showed up.

"Jay did you just call Evie attractive?" Doug asked with a hint of jealously in his voice "yes, do you have a problem with that?" Asked Jay. Evie was getting worried "yes I do actually" said Doug. The boys walked up to each other.

Evie quickly stood up "Stay away from my girl. Do you hear me?" Asked Doug. Evie quickly walked up to them "She's not your girl" said Jay "Doug come on he was just complementing me" said Evie "shut up Evie, this is between me and him" said Doug

"What did you just say to her?" Asked Jay "Doug it was nothing. Come on let's go" Evie said "You heard me" said Doug completely ignoring Evie "You do not speak to any girl like that! Let alone speak to Evie like that" said Jay

"Jay it's fine, I'm used to it" said Evie "What?" Asked Jay "Evie I thought I told you to shut up. now stay away from her, unless you want a black eye" said Doug "leave him alone!" Evie said to Doug, "how dare you! Evie is a good person" said Jay, Doug then punched him.

Jay punched back, they started fighting, Evie tried to stop them fighting but then Doug slapped her "Stay out of this Evie!" He said to her and she fell over, yes Doug had been rude to her lately but he never hit her before. Evie started to cry.

"DOUG WHAT THE FU*K!" Mal shouted as she walked into the library and saw them fighting and saw Evie crying on the floor, whenever Jay tried to get over to Evie, Doug would always bring him back and hurt him even more.

Evie saw that everyone was looking at what had just happened, she got up and ran to her dorm. Jay ran after her while Mal talked with Doug. Jay knocked on the girls dorm door and Evie opened it slightly, she opened it enough for you to see her but not enough to see the big mark on her face.

"Hey" said Jay "Hi Jay" said Evie "Can I come in?" He asked. He saw how red Evie's eyes where from crying and he wanted to support her "Sure" said Evie and she opened the door so Jay could walk In. He walked in and Evie sat down on her bed.

"Are you okay?" He asked "I'll live." Said Evie "do you need me to do anything?" Asked Jay "just hug me" said Evie. Jay out his arm around Evie and she cuddled into him, she quietly cried "it's okay Evie, he's not going to hurt you every again, I won't let that happen" Jay said

"He's never done anything like that before. I... I don't know why he would do such a thing" said Evie and she looked up a Jay. "I'm not even his girlfriend" said Evie and Jay looked at her in the eyes "what?" Asked Jay "I said that I'm not even his girlfriend" said Evie.

"I'm not going to let him near you ever again" said Jay, Evie smiled. They stared into each other's eyes. Every second slowly leaning in, soon they were only a few inches apart. Then they closed the gap and kissed. They felt sparks, it felt like fireworks, it was magical.
