Hallelujah

This one shot is inspired but the movie Shrek and the song from it Hallelujah

After coronation Evie stopped looking for a prince but she looked for someone who loved her. But one night she was kidnapped no one knows who did it but the king of one of the kingdoms said that whoever brought back the princess would have whatever he wanted. The king wanted to marry Evie. Evie was locked in a tower because she was the fairest of them all. So one day Jay when to the dragons castle he looked for Evie they had been friends forever and he needed to save her. He knew how much love meant to Evie. So when he got to the castle he climbed to the tallest room in the tallest tower where he saw Evie sitting and waiting for her prince to rescue her. Once the door opened she turned around a saw Jay "Jay?!" She asked very shockingly "come on Evie, you have a king waiting for you" Jay says and he grabs her hand and takes her down the stairs "did you slay the dragon?" Evie asks "I left that up to Carlos" Jay says "were is Mal?" Evie asks "with her king Ben" Jay says and they run into the dragon "Carlos you where supposed to slay the dragon not make it your pet" Jay say and he grabs Carlos and they run out of the castle, once they are out Jay and Carlos sigh with relief "who is this king I am to be married to?" Evie asked very sadly "his name is Lord Harry" Jay says and they start walking back to the castle "how long will this journey take?" Evie asks "about two days" Jay says "will we stop every night?" Evie asks "no" Carlos says "well we will need to. Because we need some rest" Evie says "okay then it will be a three day journey" Jay says "okay" Evie adds and they keep walking trough the forest once the sun starts to set Evie freaks out "um I need some where to rest" Evie says quickly "How about In here?" Jay ask's as he points to a cave "perfect" Evie says and she makes a door "what about us where will we sleep?" Carlos asks "dude she's a girl she needs her own room, we will sleep out here" Jay says "good night" Evie says quickly and she closes the door.

Next morning
Evie was walking around the woods when the boys woke up, she rushed back over to the campsite where they sat and watched her cook something delicious for dinner "that smells delicious" Jay says "eat up we have a big day ahead of us" Evie says and the boys eat the food. Once they are halfway through the forest Evie gets picked up by a random man "Who are you?" Asks the man "I am Jay" Jay says "oh no it's oaky princess I shall save you from this their and we-" the man starts but Evie punches him in the face and climbs down the tree. "Where did you learn to do that?" Carlos asks "seriously dude?" Jay ask's and they continue walking, once they find a cottage the sun starts to set "there it is princess your new home" Jay says as he shows Evie over the mountain to the huge castle waiting for her "well I better get some rest" Evie says and she rushes into the cottage, that night sparks come from the cottage and it wakes up Jay and Carlos, they open the door and see Evie in the floor "Evie?" Carlos asks "I'll go get her some water, Jay says and he leaves Evie then sits up "oh thank god your alright" Carlos says "oh my Auradon Evie what happened?" Carlos asks "when I speaks sent to that castle I was cursed, each night I would turn into this hideous beast" Evie says as she looks into her reflection she looks the same expect she looks... Ugly "your not a beast, I think you should tell Jay how you feel"  Carlos says "I'm a beast Carlos, how could anyone love such a hideous ugly beast I certainly can't" Evie says Jay only here's the part about loving a hideous ugly beast which makes him think that she is talking about him he storms off to get the king.

Next morning
Evie woke up with a smile on her face, she was going to tell Jay that she loved him. But when she left the cottage no one was there "Hello?" Evie asked when she saw Jay walking up from a distance "Jay there you are! I needed to talk to you" Evie says "I heard what you said last night about no one being able to love a beast, and you are right" Jay says and Evie nearly cries "here is you king your highness" Jay says mockingly when a king comes up behind him "she's just a beautiful as I imagined" the King says "is that how you really feel Jay?" Evie asks "Yes now good day!" Jay says and he storms off "princess Evie would you do me the honor if becoming my wife?" King Harry asks "I... I will" she says it breaks her heart knowing it's not Jay. They head off to the castle and get ready for the wedding tonight. Jay sat at home thinking about Evie while Evie got dressed while thinking about Jay.

It was time for the wedding.

Over at Jays house
Carlos stormed in "What do you want why aren't you with Evie on her special day?" Jay asked sarcastically "what did you hear last night?" Carlos asks "I heard about Evie calling me a hideous ugly beast and that no one can love me" Jay says "she wasn't talking about you" Carlos says "what do you mean?" Jay says "she was talking about herself" Carlos says and Jay turns to him "but Evie is the fairest in the land how can she be ugly?" Jay ask's "when she was sent to the tower she was cursed, she told me this but night one way by day another until true loves kiss when the fairest will take loves true form that was the curse she was out under, if her true love kisses her then she will take loves true form JAY SHE LOVES YOU" Carlos says trying to get his point across "we have a wedding to stop" Jay says and they run to the church.

At the church
Evie was standing at the altar with Lord Harry waiting to be crowed king. When someone opened the door.
"I OBJECT!" Jay shouts as he runs down the aisle "what is he doing here?!" Lord Harry asks "Jay?" Evie asks "I love you Evie you can't marry him" Jay says "Evie kiss me kiss me now and we have a  happily ever after" lord Harry says Evie looks at the sunset "I wanted to show you this before" Evie says and she steps into the sunlight there are sparks and once she lands she stands there "GET THE UGLY THING AWAY FROM ME!" Lord Harry shouts and the guards grab her "Jay!" Evie shouts "EVIE!" Jay shouts "look I'm king ha!" Lord Harry says while Jay and Evie try to get to each other then the dragon comes flying in "Who ever thought I would ride a dragon" Carlos says as he helps the dragon.
Once they got rid of lord Harry Jay kisses Evie and the magic spell is reversed "Evie you look... Stunning" Jay says and they hug. Evie did get her happily ever after after all.
