Chapter 10||It's good to be home

3 weeks later.....

"Just sign here." Said doctor Harris, handing my mum a piece of paper.

"Thank you so much Mr Harris." Mum said as she signed the paper and handed it back to the doctor before mum and I left the hospital.

"Honey, are you feeling okay?" Asked mum.

"Yeah, I feel great." I replied before buckling my seat belt.

"That's good." She said before driving off.

"How's the pregnancy?" I asked.

"It's fine. *sigh* 8 months left." Said mum. I chukled before I brought out my earphones from my bag and connecting it to my phone. I went to my playlist and tapped on shuffle and 'Work from home' starts pounding in my ears. I sat back and relaxed. It felt so good to be out of that damn hospital. I couldn't wait to get on my big comfy bed.

When we got home, Alex ran up to me and hugged me.

"Hey Alex." I said.

"I missed you!" He exclaimed.

"I missed you too." I replied before I pulled away.

"Hey loser." Sad Ryan as he ruffled up my hair with his hand.

"Nice to see you too, Ryan." I said as I glared at him before he pulled me into a hug.

"Hey dad." I said over Ryan's shoulder.

"Hey Brook, how are you feeling? " Asked dad before I pulled away from my hug with Ryan.

"I'm great, thanks." I replied before I pulled him into a hug.

It's good to be home.

After eating lunch, I went upstairs to my room and plopped on my bed. "Ahhhhhhh." I said feeling very relaxed.

I heard a beep from my phone. I brought it out from my pocket. It was a text from Cree.
