Suffocate (Sequel To: Together)

Kim looked at the plug and she ran and pulled it.

"NO!" DeShaun screamed.

 I was dragged into my body but, instead of having my life flash before my eyes I was in my body and I was breathing. So, I opened my eyes and my head was booming. These strangers were in shock and I was just full of tubes so the white guy with pretty blue eyes walked over and I screamed as much as I possibly could get with a breathing tube in my mouth. A black guy with a tattoo that said Proof walked over and I fliched before letting him untwist the breathing tube. He took off the breathing tube and the mask that went with it and I breathed in a little too much air causing me to get the hiccups. He gave me some water and I took gulps of it.

"Breathe Angel." The black one said and wrapped his arm around me. I felt his heart thumping hella fast and everybody's mouths dropped.

1 Week Later

Physical Training

"Come on Angel let's go!" The black one named DeShaun said and cheered me on. I held the railing as I took a couple of steps.

"Come on Angel don't be a fuck up ya fat fuck." The one with blue eyes named Marshall joked and my knees wobbled as I took three more and then I collapsed. DeShaun ran over and picked me up before siting me on the rail.

"Angel what's wrong?"

"I don't remember you guys. Well I do remember your names but I can't match up the faces. All I remember is a dark room, and I'm screaming at him, and I leave and headlights ." I whispered and he sighed.

"Look, I know that it's scary but nobody likes hospitals and I really want to discharge you tonight so can you try to finish?"

"Yeah." I said and he grabbed my hand and we started over.

"Let's go baby!" DeShaun screamed. I walked along the rail and I closed my eyes. When I opened them there I was at the end of the mat. Proof and Marshall ran to me and hugged me.

1 week later

Bobby's Car Shop

"I cannot believe they did that to my fucking truck!" I said and DeShaun laughed. I rubbed my hand along the side of the car. I had no front just a back. I opened up the door and pulled out the CD's, apparently I had a son so I grabbed the diaper bag, his blanket, my stroller and car seat and my package of water bottles. I was starting to remember Marshall a bit. I just couldn't remember what happened right before I woke up. DeShaun looked at me and smiled but something was on his mind.

"DeShaun." I said.

"Yeah Angel."

"Why was it like I got the plug pulled but I'm alive?"

"Kim brainwashed him which is easy to do now that he's always high. He was going to pull it but, I came in last minute when I overheard Kim mention it. Kim pulled the plug and some how you're here that's why he couldn't get out the the car."

"He was going to pull my plug?" I whimpered.

"Yeah." I ran to the car and Marshall popped open the trunk. I threw my stuff in and then I closed it. I got in the backseat and Proof got on the drivers side.

"Seat beat asshole." He said and Marshall rolled his eyes. I plucked him in the ear.

"Fuckin' asshole put on the fucking seat belt for I choke you with it." I said choked up on my words. I can't believe him. 

"DeShaun I got a date last night when I went out  on a walk. So, could you take me to that Spanish place.

"What's up with you and foreign places?"

"I think it's good to experience different things just like you experience different beers."

"Beer is the shit."

"I want some wine and cheese ASAP!" I said and Marshall laughed.

"I got you covered, pour me some would you." He asked and passed me a plastic bag. I reached in my pocket and slipped two Ambien into his drink and passed him the glass.

"Thanks Angel." He said and drank it up. I poured myself a glass and closed the bottle. I drank up and then I feel asleep. I awoke and they were having a argument.

"I'm too drowsy for this. KIM TOLD ME TO DO BUT, I DIDN'T!"

"YOU WERE GOING TO THAT'S THE PROBLEM!"

"BUT I DIDN'T."

"STOP! I cannot do this!" I screamed and I got out. I pulled out the bike from the trunk and rode down the freeway to the house ten minutes before they did. I sat on top of the roof and played with the snow. I laid down and feel my hair dampen. Angelina climbed up and sat with me. I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm looking for apartments tomorrow did you wanna come."

"Yeah Mommy." I hugged her and she laughed.

"I gotta get ready for this date come help Momma." I said and climbed down the ladder.

A Hour Later

"Are you sure I look okay?" I asked and she laughed.

"For a woman who just got out of the hospital a week ago. SEXAYYYYYY!" She said and I laughed hugging her. I was in this leather dress, my hair was straight, and I was wearing my black wedges with my anklet and charm bracelet.  I walked downstairs and Marshall had walked in smelling like weed and his jaw dropped. Kim walked in and she groaned. I looked at Marshall and I smiled.

"Where you going?"

"I have a date tonight, Baby." I said and rolled my eyes.
