"Angel, are you okay?" He asked again and clutched my hand. I looked at him and his hand shook.
"Um, yeah." I said and I rubbed my face and he stopped at the stoplight. I clutch his hand and to us it isn't much but, I'm starting to wonder if it's enough to make him wonder what's in store for us.
"You love me or is this just lust to you?" I asked.
"What?"
"You need to pick me or her. I can't- I don't- I won't do that. I'm-"
"I get it. But, If I pick then you'll never let me see my son." He said and I moved my hand.
"We need to go get help before I move out." I said.
2 Weeks Later
"Do you feel used?"
"Yeah, I feel disrespected by you, Marshall. You want too much and it's not because you dumped me when I was in the hospital on that bed. On life support. After a car wreck that you dumped me. Or what we talked about earlier. No. It's that you fucked me over but, that's okay."
"Angel I-"
"You love me and you won't make me feel like that ever again. Bullshit. I found that pretty diamond that you plan on giving her."
"Angel, I love you both I don't know who to give the ring to and that's the problem."
"If you can dump me and then you picked already." I mumbled.
"GIVE ME A BREAK! I WAS AT YOUR BEDSIDE FOR TWO MONTHS OF MY MISERABLE LIVE!"
"And I bet you were high everyday." I said and I drank some water.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR!"
"WHAT! YOU WANT ME TO BE FAIR OR TELL THE TRUTH?" I asked and he stayed quiet.
"FINE! Marshall you are a great dad but you could use some work on the relationship and trust issues because if this was in another life, I would be your girl we'd keep all our promises be us against the world. Because in another life I would make you stay so, I don't have to say, You were the one that got away. I was for you as you were for me remember. Never one without the other, we made a pact. It's time to face the music, I'm no longer your muse. Why do you have to be this this huh?"
"I don't know."
"Are you guys currently seeing someone."
"I just recently got back with my ex-wife Kim."
"I'm with my friend Rob. It's nothing serious but, I just want to be sure that if we give up on this that, we're done." I said and he looked at me and sighed.
"Ange-"
"I'm done. I got everything out that I needed to say." I said and stood up.
"I haven't been able to explain."
"Okay."
"You're so hypnotizing but, then you're a bitch. Could you be the devil? Could you be an angel? Your touch magnetizing, I don't understand you. This new you. Like you're from a whole other world. Moment of honesty right? Someone's gotta take the lead tonight. I'm gonna sit right here and tell you all that comes to me. You give me a feeling that I never felt before and I deserve it, you deserve it."
Six Hours Later
"Rob, Chris!" I said and they sat at the table and I smiled.
"How's your daughter?" Chris asked.
"Um she's great. She's actually with Marshall this weekend. She missed the girls." I said and walked to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"Angel, Big Cat, and me are going out bowling do you wanna come?" He asked as I ate some of his yogurt.
"Yeah." I said and sat on the table.
"Okay I would change outfits if I was you." I rolled my eyes and he laughed. I walked to my bedroom and walked into the walk in closet. I grabbed a white shirt and blue jeans then tied up my hair. I got dressed and walked downstairs and Rob passed me two bunnies.
"What the hell."
"Smile Angel." He said.
"Why?"
"I'm Rob Dyrdek." He said and I smiled and he took the picture. I set them down and he laughed.
"You ready?"
"Yes." I said and we walked to the truck. He laughed and hopped in. Unlike Marshall he would actually drive around for fun. I sat in the back and Cat and his brother Drama told Rob to stop.
"Somebody else wanna drive?" Rob asked.
"Yeah!" Cat said and Rob pulled over hopping over into the passenger seat. Cat took down the road and Rob rolled his window down and someone screamed.
"Rob Dyrdek?"
"Yeah. CAREFUL CAREFUL!" He screamed as the man crashed into the car in front of him. We all gasped and kinda chuckled.
"Holy shit." Rob said and I laughed.
Bowling
"STRIKE!" I screamed and Rob shouted URGH as I got it. I stood there in shock I raised my hands and jumped into Rob's arms.
"WOO!" I said and he set me down and we high fived.
"Yeah dude." We said and we hugged.
