Someone once told me, " Recalling the past meant holding a grudge." Yes, that sounded pretty stupid I know.
Our past determines who we are. We simply cannot forget the bad times in our lives. Those were the days that pushed us to our limits. It's okay to look back once in a while to see how far you've come. Remembering the bad times doesn't mean that your holding a grudge but it means those were the toughest time that left a huge impact on your life.
Talking about the bad times doesn't mean you're holding a grudge either. It just means your willing to share your bad experiences for whatever reason. It's not wrong.
