98. Reasons VS excuses

Someone once told me " It's not meant to be" but that person didn't fight for it. When something means a lot to you, you'll fight for it .

When a patient is in critical condition, why does a doctor fight to keep him alive when the doctor could just say, " It's meant for him to die" and just do nothing about it?

Before saying " it's not meant to be" , fight for it. There must still be hope. We only abandon a ship when don't have a choice. It's only not meant to be when you get tired of trying and nothing is working or the other party doesn't care.

Leave when it's pointless to fight anymore. But if that's not the case, don't let ego and pride be the cause of your shipwreck. That's not a reason, it's an excuse.

Another thought that held a deep meaning to me. It's really sad that people wouldn't fight for you but they expect you to fight for them. But, we can't be always the one fighting for someone. Someone has to fight for us as while. It takes 2 hands to clap not one.
