We made it back to the village late last night. We walked together, dropping each other off. Sakura and Naruto were the first to be dropped off at their houses, leaving Sasuke and I the last ones.
"Hey, Hinata." He calls my name as soon as we stopped in front my house. I look up at him and wait for him to speak. "Can we talk tomorrow morning?" He asks.
"Is something the matter?" I ask curious. Sasuke shook his head slightly and smiled a gentle smile. "Not at all. I just have something to talk to you about. Don't worry about it, okay? It's nothing bad." He says, now walking away.
"Good night, Hinata." He waves good bye until he disappeared.
It was now the next morning.
Sasuke had came to my house unexpectedly early. He's now in my living room while I made rice balls for the both of us.
I'm a bit startled... I'm really curious into what he wants to talk about all of the sudden. He said not to worry but I couldn't help but struggle to go to sleep last night because of his sudden approach. I like him... I admit it now. He likes me! So what's the thing that he needs to suddenly talk about?
I had finally finished our little breakfast. I grab the heavy plates filled with 5 rice balls each and lay it in front of Sasuke at the coffee table. "Thanks." He says while starting to eat. I nod and eat along.
We ate in silence until we had both finished.
Sasuke grabbed our plates and placed them on the kitchen counter next to the sink. He came back and sat next to me.
"Hinata, I've been wondering." He starts, finally breaking the awkwardness between us. I look over at him in wonder.
"Yes?"
"When you said you were here to stop me from killing my brother... and now you suddenly like me..." he starts to bundle his sentences. "these are two different things right? You're not just saying you like me because of your real mission, right?" Sasuke asks in such in inescent tone.
I was surprised to hear him speak this way. I look at him with a gentle smile and chuckle. "Please don't mistake me as a mean person who would do such a thing." I say with a gentle look. "I'm not that kind of person, Sasuke. My feelings towards you are quite real but our relationship does worry me."
Sasuke showed nothing but saddened eyes from the words "our relationship does worry me".
"What do you mean, Hinata?" He asks.
Hinata sighs out and says, "I'm worried about what my dad will think... he said to help you, not fall for you. I just hope he doesn't mind me liking a human is all." Sasuke had a look of relief.
We both sat there in silence again.
I pulled my knees up to my chest, resting my chin atop of my knees.
Sasuke looks over at me with a gentle look. "Let's go some where." He says standing up. He offers his hand to help me up. I accept his offer and grip onto his hand. He pulls me up quicker than expected making me fall into his arms.
"Sorry..." He says with a slight smile. He did it on purpose!
I blush.
Sasuke walks to the door and I follow. He opens the door, gesturing for me to go first. I walk out before Sasuke followed. I locked the door after he shuts it.
We finally leave the lands of my house, making our way through the village.
The village was still being built on but it was gradually starting to look better and better. Like a brand new village was rising from it's previous lost. Which it really is.
After 25 minutes of walking through the village, we stopped at the place where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's very first test was, after the day of Jounin's being assigned to us.
"What're we doing here?"
Sorry for a short chapter. I'm really bust but I'll get back to it soon! I hope you like this chapter!
