The Secrets (Hinata X Sasuke)

Chapter 3: Sasuke?

Sasuke? What's he calling out to me for?

I watched him get closer and closer. Once he got close enough, I ask. "Is there something you need, Sasuke?" I look him up and down.

Sasuke looked down at me. "I have two things. First thing has been bothering me since the funeral... I want to know why you called out my name like that after the funeral." I look at him, thinking back. "Oh... I almost forgot."

I look at his face. Isn't this the first time I'm actually looking at him so closely?

He's so handsome.

I shake my head to that human like thought. What am I thinking!? He's not handsome!

Sasuke looked at me weirdly. I shrug. "Don't worry about that." Sasuke looked at me with gentle eyes. "I see... Well that's not what I'm really here for anyways. The 2nd thing is that, Kakashi has a mission for us and he decided to bring one extra ninja to come along with us and he chose you." Sasuke says fairly quickly. I stay silent, looking up at Sasuke. "What's the mission?" Sasuke shrugged. "I'm not sure. He hasn't said anything about the mission."

"I see..." I twist a strand of hair and look down as I think.

This could be my chance to get closer with Sasuke and get rid of Sakura.

I grin. "I'll join. This'll be good." I smile up at him. "When are we leaving?"

"We leave tomorrow afternoon at 12 o' clock. And we'll be meeting at the entrance. Make sure you're there on time." He says looking back at me.

I nod and smile. "Sure thing. I'm leaving now! Good night." I wave to him while walking away.

Yes! I'm so happy. I get my chance and it came about so easily!

"Good night..." Sasuke said faintly before I disappeared. "I had something else but... I guess that'll have to wait till later." Sasuke added looking ahead before leaving, going back to his house.

Once I finally got home, I started packing. "This is a great opportunity for me! I'll be done with my real mission in no time." As I babbled on to myself, I ended up finishing the packing fairly quickly.

I decided to go to sleep and take a shower tomorrow morning before leaving.

It's now the next day and I'm getting ready for the meet.

I dressed in my ninja uniform, put my ninja pack on my back, and place my two swords in the sheaths hanging from my back.

Before leaving I make sure that everything is in place and locked.

I leave the house, now heading to the entrance. I want to be there early.

Once I got to the entrance of the village where all of us are supposed to me. I see Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura standing there waiting for Kakashi.

Sasuke was leaning against a large tree. Sakura was sitting next to him, not too close though. And Naruto was laying down, in the middle of the path way.

I guess all there is just waiting for Kakashi Sensei to get here and we can leave.

I approach them. "Afternoon."
