Ryder's Pov:

'Do you have the time

To listen to me whine

About nothing and everything

All at once

I am one of those

Melodramatic fools

Neurotic to the bone

No doubt about it' 

    I was in the band room strumming my guitar to Green Day. Ever since I was twelve I always had a fascination for the guitar and music in general. I   t's been there for me through all the rough times. When I was done I thought I was alone in the band room considering it's lunch time but I was wrong. 

 Someone was clapping. I turned around and saw Alice there leaning up against the door smiling at me. 

"That was really good." She complimented. 

I just shrugged. I was use to people telling me my playing was good. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked walking over the guitar case to put up my guitar. 

Alice looked at me for a moment and responded, "I was on my way to lunch but then I heard someone playing guitar to one of my favorite songs." 

"Guess the band rooms isn't that sound proof" I mumbled under my breath. 

"Do you want to go get lunch or continue mumbling things under your breath?" 

I didn't know what it was about this girl but something about her intrigued me.  

       "Sure I could eat." Alice and me was walking down the hallway toward the cafeteria when I spotted Bryan and Isabella clinging all over one another. This is just great. Clearly noticing how uncomfortable I felt at the moment Alice put her arm around mine . 

It felt nice her arm around my arm. What was I saying?  I'm just feeling off because I saw Isabella with Bryan that's all. 

"Alice why do you have my arm?" 'Shut up stupid you like it' The voice inside my head told me . 

     She looked up and smiled at me "I saw that you was a little uncomfortable when you saw Isabella and Bryan I just wanted to help you calm your nerves." That made since I guess.  Was Alice always like this grabbing strangers she didn't know? Well she knew me but only a little bit. 

Wait, why did I care so much? I didn't .   I did ask her if she had a boyfriend , why did I ask that? She said she didn't which made me feel relieved. 

"Thanks Alice." 

    "Anytime Ryder" There she goes again with her beautiful smile.  You are not starting to develop feelings for this girl are you Ryder?  As I stole a glance at Alice I already knew the answer to my own question.  Yes, I did indeed have a crush on Alice .
