Ryder's Prov:
Here I was standing in the gym waiting on Alice. Why should I wait? I mean after all she's one the one that has been avoiding me. I didn't do anything wrong to her other then called her a bitch which I apologized for. 'She probably won't show' Why wouldn't she? Why would she? I hated the voice inside my head a lot.
Around the time I was about to give up she walked through the door. Her long brunette hair and her Twenty One Pilots hoodie and those cute converses. She looked so beautiful but of course I wasn't going tell her that because I'm mad.
"Hey I'm here like you said now what do you want?" Alice asked impatiently.
"What do I want? I want you stop avoiding me." I said clenching my jaw.
"I'm no-" I cut her off. "Don't tell me your not when you are I don't like liars."
She chuckled. "Good, I'm glad you don't like me."
"That's not what I meant just.. Tell me what's going on." Ryder hoped that Alice would lower her guard a little and let him in but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.
"Well I can tell you right now I don't love you." Is she kidding we haven't been known each other long then like a couple weeks?
"I'm glad you don't love me Alice."
Alice bit her lip nervously and asked "Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why are you glad that I don't love you?"
"I don't believe in love." He simply stated.
"Really? You don't believe in love at all?"
"Nope not at all." Ryder knew she was going ask why but he didn't want to tell Alice that he had a wrecked heart, one that won't love anyone ever again.
"Okay." That wasn't the reply Ryder was looking for but he was grateful she didn't ask why.
"Okay what?"
"I think we should stay friends." Alice said looking at him with those piercing hazel eyes. Ryder's heart fell a little bit but if it meant Alice would talk to him again he would agree to anything.
"Okay friends it is." Ryder offered a hand shake to Alice but she just looked at his hand. This was going be difficult how can you stay friends with someone you have a crush on without ruining it in the long run?
