Emily's Pov:
"Get me some hair dye." Hearing those words come out of her sister caused Emily to be thrown back.
"What?"
"Get me some hair dye." Alice restates while eating her toast.
"For?"
"Me. My hair I can't stand brown any longer."
"Why? I asked looking at her hair. It looked good now that it was no longer dirty and looked like it was a habitat for birds.
"My brunette hair seems dull. I want to change it up."
"In the past when I even tried to cut your hair you would flip out on me." Emily added while also, taking a bit out of her own toast.
"One, that was a hair cut this isn't. Two, that was the old me. Three, I want to try something different."
Still not convinced , Emily squints at her sister. "You sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
"What color would you even get?"
"That's why we are going to the store to see what colors they have."
"Alright." Emily agreed seeing no point in arguing with her younger sister. Beside it was Alice's hair not her own.

Alice's Pov:
When Emily and me arrived at Wal-mart I kept thinking of the color I should get. I mean it was a spur of the moment thing to go and get my hair dyed. I wanted to get rid of my hair. It reminded her of her mom. Alice and her mother both had brunette hair, while Emily got dad's blonde.
"I sure hope you know what your doing." My sister said still sounding like me dying my hair wasn't a good Idea.
"I know what I'm doing."
"Oh, yeah?" She questions.
"Yeah, I want a new look."
"Why though? Why the change?"
"Why not?" Alice retorted. Walking down the cosmetic section she spots a color that she though would suite her right away.
"Emily what do you think of this color?"
When Emily sees what color I picked out her eyes widened. "Alice there are plenty more other colors then just that."
"I think it would be great it would go with my new personality." Emily wanted to comment about her new personality business but decided against it.
"If that's really the color you want I guess I have to respect your wishes."
"Oh yeah can we also go shopping for new clothes?"
Looking at her sister she asked "What do you think I am a walking ATM?"
Smiling mischievously Alice walked towards the clothes section. "No your not a ATM. Your MY ATM."
"Same difference."
"How can it be different but the same?"
"Now who's saying physiological bullshit?"
"What can I say? My older sibling has rubbed off on me." Alice knew Emily was going to cave in and agree to buy her new clothes to and so did Emily.
"Okay but there's a limit." Emily said sternly.
"Since when did a teenage girl ever had a limit to shopping?"
"Since there older sister is still in college and has to keep a budget."
Few hours after picking and trying out clothes Alice and Emily decided to head home.
"Now that we brought you that dye and clothes I have to tell you something." Oh, lord usually when Emily says 'I have to tell you something' it's usually bad.
"Okay." Alice says wearily. I knew she wouldn't agree to buy me all this stuff without some sort of catch.
"Considering how I brought you stuff today you have to do what I say."
"Depends what it is."
"Alice, it's cute how you think you have a say so in this."
"In what?"
"Starting tomorrow you are going back to school."
"What?"
"Your going back to school."
"Why?"
"Why? I took time off college to help you and I need to go back to it. That also means that you are gong back to school too."
"That's unfair Emily!"
"That's life Alice."
Clearly angry with her sister Alice takes the dye they brought and heads towards the bathroom. Looking at her brunette hair one last time in the mirror, Alice opens the box of dye and starts washing her hair.
