Wrecked Hearts

It's Okay

Alice Pov:

   "Em, I can't... I ..." Gripping her hands tightly her knuckle began to turn white.

"Alice it's okay what happened wasn't your fault."   She knew Emily was just trying to reassure her, but Alice still felt guilty.

"I'm so sorry. If I wasn't how I was none of this would've happen."

"You see Alice I always resented you.   I always wanted to be you.   You were this rebellious person I wanted to be. Instead I always let mom and dad push me around.    Letting you take the heat all the time.  You may think I'm perfect, but I'm not."

  "Emily I had no idea. I thought you hated me I mean mom and dad did, so why wouldn't you right?"

   Arms wrapped around Alice and for the first time in a long time she let someone hug her. "Alice, mom and dad loved you. They just had their moments when you went a little crazy."

"I'm not crazy now?" She says laughing. 

   "Oh, trust me your still crazy." Slightly smiling at her older sister Alice makes her way towards the grave.

     Looking back at Emily who nods as if saying go ahead it's okay Alice pulls out a locket she kept with her and places it on her father's grave.   The locket had a picture of Alice & Emily. For some reason she wanted it with her father now.

"I miss & love you dad" She whispers to no one.  Now that she had some sort of closure she had another sort of closure to get with Ryder.

Ryder's Pov:

   At this point in my life I don't know what is going on. Alice and I kissed I liked it.  I just don't feel like getting my heart torn like it did when I told her I loved her.  She never explained anything to me.

    She promised me that we were going to talk soon. I just didn't know how it was going to go. Making his way towards the living room, he heard someone knocking on the door.

"Come in!" Ryder said not even bothering to get up to see who it was. Which when he saw who it was he immediately wished he did because there stood Evan.

"Don't mind if I do, Terrance."

"Get off my property." I said balling my fist.

"That's funny coming from you when you didn't leave my property and me alone." He says coming towards me.

"If you're talking about Alice she's not property and she sure as hell isn't yours anymore."

Ryder was now toe-to-toe with Evan. "You see that's were your wrong." Knitting his eyebrows in confusion Ryder dropped his eyes down towards something Evan was pulling out.

    Would Evan kill him?   There were no doubts about it Evan might actually be crazy enough to kill Ryder.    Holding the knife in his hand Evan brought it into Ryder's chest.   Collapsing on the floor, Ryder held where Evan stabbed him. 

     The last thought that was on Ryder's mind was Alice before darkness began to over take him.
